No need to go super fancy with all sorts of foodstuffs mixed together... it'll just be gross lol. Try this: mix up 10lbs of flour and water really well in small quantities putting it into a 3 gallon bucket, top off w/ a bottle of baby shampoo and some green poster paint... instant proper gunge...
Take a look at the sonictoadthomas videos on youtube for good gunge and pie videos. They use pancake batter mixed with water and food coloring. Best of luck!
get someone else to help you, it'll be easier and more fun. you can sit there and brace yourself whilst your friend grabs the mess. and maybe you can do the same to them one day!
