At 2:18 ryu could've won that round with a textbook combo. A ultra would've connect after the Ex. Cool fight.

I dont understand are you saying if he would have EX hadoukened he could have won that round. I think he was just hangin on for dear life and reflexed ultra'd. Geom was clutch for replying with his in that tight ass window. I think that Ryu was upset that he couldnt tick throw constantly and kept getting tech'd. I hate that tactic. Ryu got a million weapons, why just go for the throw.

After the Ex. The ultra can connect since he did the ex as a hitcheck it gave him much time to go for it.

That EX still would have gotten Super Flash kicked, so i dont see how it is the better option.

And for me it's a downward battle because Ryu has a million weapons and Guile is limited...I like that FADC out of the double down round house...that is the worst kick in Street Fighter 4...needs to be fixed for Super SF4, but yeah Guile is limited compared to Ryu
