There is a Kilkey in the location index. No family history, but the index shows a location according to my master index. The names of Kilkey and Kilkie certainly look close enough to have been interchanged over time
Hi, does your book have a John Davidson from Ulster, Ireland? I'm am descended from him. It's said he was Scotch Irish and I am interested in doing research further back from him. He came to America around 1675.
The set that deal closest with Scots Irish in the 17th century, would be the 'Conquest of Ireland, The Plantation of Ulster'. It includes Pynnars survey and names in the land grants, etc... index is online on the home page. Thanks.
The Book of Irish Families Great & Small is so jam packed with valuable information that it would be crazy not to use when researching your irish family history.
It's split up into three parts for a better, more organized read. Index's are also full of great information - the Master Index being the most notable.
Check out the video concerning the full 34-volume set!
Hey does any of these books talk about the Moors and do you have any Dark Age crests?
