If passed, Prop 8 would eliminate a basic human and civic right of a targeted group of citizens. If passed, Prop 8 would actually amend our constitution to discriminate. If the constitution can be amended to discriminate against this group same sex couples who want to be committed in marriage then the constitution can be amended to discriminate against any group.
