This video helped me better understand propagation. You made it easy to understand and explained it in simple terms. Thank You for creating this video!
I just got myself a FTDX 5000 MP and want a studio mic for dual purpose. Radio & some Voice work like a small vocal studio i want a studio mic and i was thinking RE-20 OR PR-40 any thoughts?
@kravron The topic of microphone selection is very opinionated. I use a Sennheiser e815S but the only reason I use it is because I got it for free. However, I think that making a large investment (like the RE-20) for you first microphone is a mistake. I would recommend getting something much more simple to start with. How about an SM58 or SM57? Industry workhorses.
Great videos! You really took the idea out of me; I never found the time to make informational ham radio videos but wanted to. Now I have to go find a new youtube niche lol.
@sterwing Thanks man! Glad to see that you're an engineering student as well! Hoping to get a radio club at Gonzaga U in Spokane, WA where I go to school. Love to get in touch with you on the HF sometime.
Very informative and well delivered. Slowly preparing for Tech so this is something to look forward to learning more about later on!!
