I feel like there shouldent be a sequal but an epilouge to what happened after. Mabey instead of giant comming back he'll find out where he came from or Hogarth has children but when giant comes back he finds one of Hogarth's children, thinking its Hogarth giant will do something or what ever.

Iron Giant, it's just too good for a sequel. A sequel is simply beneath it. Movies are like tests, if you aren't making a new movie, it means you got all the parts right on your first try in the test and can't do anybetter, not remakes or retakes. Besides, I did my research and I read that Brad Bird didn't intend to make a sequel and doesn't want one. Why? Because he only meant for it to be an abtract way of saying what Hogarth told the Giant : Souls don't die.

this movie got many simbolic escenes that drags you the story line. i also liked alot that escene where the iron gigant thinks that HOgarth ais dead alsmot at the end of the movie.

best animated movie EVER. saw it when i was little now im trying to get it for my nieces and nephews but cant find it anywhere. no1 holds the movie anymore. and yea they rele should come up with a second part. it would be great.

Man, I love this movie. One of my favs. When I first saw the iron giant's reaction to the gun, it sorta gave me chills. Thought it was going to go berserk. Very nice!
