a stock honda k20a took 42 psi 11:1 C/R and its not built for boost at all.

@neonsareforfags modified mag got a 14.4@97 and 0-60 in 6.4. motor trend says 14.2@100 and 0-60 in 5.8. the only one that says a sub 14 second run is road and track and that was a 13.9@100. i did it in my stock srt4 in 13.9@102. car/driver ran a 13.9@103 and 0-60 in 5.3. oh and one more thing...an srt4 was 21k while an s2k was 33k. if im gonna spend id much rather have an evo, sti, or 370z. id take a new 5.0 stang or camaro before i would spend that much on a s2k.

One muffler on the SRT-4, ugly. The GSR is faster, first and second race the SRT-4 takes off first, in the 2nd race the GSR passes him. And 22psi on a Stage 1 turbo is the limit, 26psi is pointless it does nothing if he lowers it to 22psi it ll run the same.
Man all i can say is that no one should make any asumptions...Not enough info on the cars to see what each car is capable of. Yeah the SRT can have 26 LBS of boost but have shitty HP/TQ while an SRT stock/tuned can own with 20PSI..Depends on constant HP/TQ through out the Power band. I would rather have a car with 260 HP that hits from 2K RPM and holds that 260HP to 6K RPM then have a 300HP Car that only gets that power from say 3K RPM to 5K RPM then looses HP.

The Type R comes with nearly 200HP all engine from factory. While the srt-4 comes with 230 HP with a PT Cruiser Engine boosting 14-16 pounds. Just putting a turbo with 5 pounds on a Type R will make it 230 HP+. Do some research. Is not all about who is boosting more.

What? I've never heard or anyone running 12 pounds of a stock LS motor. No. Maybe 8 or 9, but certainly not 12. My friend Jon has a GSR and he raced my other friend Nate who has a turbocharged LS 11:1 or something like that running 8 pounds stock motor and said that you couldn't push anything else out of a stock motor, or you'd blow it.
ran it at 12 pounds for two years now and nothing has happened, but got my ecu chipped with 450 injectors with walbro 255 fuel pump, all you need is to have your car tune, although mine is not tune, it's a gsr that you can't boost more than 8 or 9 pounds, but because of the ls having a lower compression than a gsr, you could even do 15, although not safe, but i did try it once, cause i have about 60k on it only, it would be okay, do some research
Haha, yeah, I talked to Nate and Jon. I got my stuff mixed up. Nate told me the LS has a compression of 9.2:1 vs the GSR which has 10.0:1. So I apologize, you are correct. ^_^
it's doesn't matter how many pounds that is being put out it's the power that is being made @ that psi. U could have a 50 trim turbo at 20 psi puttin out the same power as a 60 trim at 10... all depends on the power not psi

Doesnt matter,I stated what I did simply because for 1: the video doesnt state that the turbo is upgraded so I assumed it had the stock turbo. 2: No SRT at 26psi will get traction like this car did in second, NO SRT, unless it has slicks.3: Its clear somebody exaggerated the numbers on the boost because the stock turbo max efficiency range is 21-22psi.

i do agree with chillenium. an srt with an upgraded turbo on 26psi is spinning through 3rd on street tires. the gsr is quick though. i just hate youtube vids when u dont know what all the mods of each car are.

i know this is an old ass comment but u said that u have seen a stock s2000 demolish an srt4. my stock srt4 ran a 13.9 at 102mph. are there any stock hondas that can do that? none that i know of so maybe u can enlighten me. s2000 is a low 14 second car. ive never heard of one breaking into the 13s. u cant go by seeing an srt4 get beat because im sure there was a shitload of driver error on the srt drivers part.

One muffler on the SRT-4, ugly. The GSR is faster, first and second race the SRT-4 takes off first, in the 2nd race the GSR passes him. And 22psi on a Stage 1 turbo is the limit, 26psi is pointless it does nothing if he lowers it to 22psi it ll run the same.

Man all i can say is that no one should make any asumptions...Not enough info on the cars to see what each car is capable of. Yeah the SRT can have 26 LBS of boost but have shitty HP/TQ while an SRT stock/tuned can own with 20PSI..Depends on constant HP/TQ through out the Power band. I would rather have a car with 260 HP that hits from 2K RPM and holds that 260HP to 6K RPM then have a 300HP Car that only gets that power from say 3K RPM to 5K RPM then looses HP.

The Type R comes with nearly 200HP all engine from factory. While the srt-4 comes with 230 HP with a PT Cruiser Engine boosting 14-16 pounds. Just putting a turbo with 5 pounds on a Type R will make it 230 HP+. Do some research. Is not all about who is boosting more.

is that a stock turbo srt-4? cuz the turbos are tiny on those things, a tiny turbo with a 2" inlet at 26lbs will not flow as much air as a t3/t4 turbo with a 3" or 4" inlet at a lower boost leve, when will u newbs learn that. and im sure that is what the gs-r was running,. good kill to the gs-r.

What? I've never heard or anyone running 12 pounds of a stock LS motor. No. Maybe 8 or 9, but certainly not 12. My friend Jon has a GSR and he raced my other friend Nate who has a turbocharged LS 11:1 or something like that running 8 pounds stock motor and said that you couldn't push anything else out of a stock motor, or you'd blow it.

ran it at 12 pounds for two years now and nothing has happened, but got my ecu chipped with 450 injectors with walbro 255 fuel pump, all you need is to have your car tune, although mine is not tune, it's a gsr that you can't boost more than 8 or 9 pounds, but because of the ls having a lower compression than a gsr, you could even do 15, although not safe, but i did try it once, cause i have about 60k on it only, it would be okay, do some research

Haha, yeah, I talked to Nate and Jon. I got my stuff mixed up. Nate told me the LS has a compression of 9.2:1 vs the GSR which has 10.0:1. So I apologize, you are correct. ^_^

it's doesn't matter how many pounds that is being put out it's the power that is being made @ that psi. U could have a 50 trim turbo at 20 psi puttin out the same power as a 60 trim at 10... all depends on the power not psi
