This is really great stuff. Thank you very much for developing it and posting these lessons. I'm about to teach my first semester at a Thai university, and am finding your lessons a great introduction. You know what would make them better? If you were to light up the Thai words when they're spoken so that I can associate the sound with the symbol.
@tommmmmer why would you say that? I've seen more "out of the closet" gays here in ThaiLand than anywhere in the world ~ Also, I'd doubt there were more lady boys anywhere else? No one cares one bit ~ seems totally accepted to me ~
@tommmmmer Have you ever been to Thailand? I've been several times and an entire village accepts me and my Thai boyfriend completely. The village elders even allowed me to sit in their monthly meeting.
@chaosbringer Girls should use "chan" (the "a" sounds like something between an "uh" or "ah") instead of "phom" to refer to themselves. Replace "phuu-ying" (girl) with "phuu-chai" (which means boy). Instead of "suey" for pretty, use "law" for handsome and that's pretty much the whole lesson. ;)
though ur lessons r nice/helpful they are very pronun boring- always i for male speakers- woman? him? her, ect...

@cbunming rude!

@stellaarmitage อยากให้พวกฝรั่งมันใช้คำหวานหลอกเอาผู้หญิงไทยฟรีๆหรอ สอนมันให้พูดแบบนี้ดีแล้ว ใครไม่อยากโดนเอาฟรีจะได้ไม่ถูกหลอก หรือใครอยากเอากับฝรั่งก็จะได้ชัดเจนกันไป
