  • way too much baseball, not enoug food porn

  • Sure it's a nice place to visit but try getting on a soapbox and start complaining about the government, see how long you last!

  • @budarunner At least in worst case you will be just jailed for some time. In so called democracy, Russia many reporters criticizing policy of government have been shot, and murderers have never been caught, obviously government backed.

Or what about China? There you will get to jail for very long time, but of course USA and its dirty capitalists still trade with them.

Revolution is the best thing that has ever happened to Cubans.

  • Viva Cuba Libre!

    Sin Castro

  • @budarunner I hope that Cuba will never become what it was before Castro, big brothel of Americans and their mafia. Before Castro Batista ruled and killed over 20 000 Cubans. At that time there was no free high quality healthcare or education to most people, many couldnt even read. Castro truly has done good things to his people.

    Viva Castro!

  • looked like califonia oilive oil in those 2 green square bottles at 3:34

  • I like how he ended it: .... "waiting to see what happens next" that really does describe how life feels in Cuba, if not "hoping to live yet another day."

  • Anthony Bourdain Rocks! I will visit havana it's love :*

Thank You Kumquatsta your The best!

  • @KatherineRuthNonong you're very welcome

  • Anthony Bourdain, breaking stereotypes and mainstream ideologies like a boss

  • i hope cuba will never be capitalist ,you say castro is dictator but what is happening in the "democratic" countries in latin america ?,even though there is no usa embargo on them so many people live poverty homelessnes they have no education no health care and a few enjoy the wealth so you have to recognise that castro and communism did some good to cuba but americans never forgive him because he spoil the plans they had for cuba.

  • @michaelxlt08 You are wrong my friend

  • REAL baseball!

  • great job Bourdain , im cuban and everting you show is truth just the truth , every time I travel to Cuba, I shave with a barber daily 0.25 dolars plus tips ,,,,but I had to escape from Cuba, because life for ordinary Cubans is terrible,,, being a rich country, is crushed with an iron fist by Castro and a group of soldiers who sold their dignity ,,,i hope one day i can came back there to live in freedon like USA thank you

  • @michaelxlt08 jajaja "freedom like usa" jajaja

  • Lmao Kim 's as

  • Bourdain is great...exactly the sort of travelling he does, is what I like too. Just cruising around places wanting to see and feel how the locals go about life. You can just imagine him cringing non-stop running into other tourists who are unfortunately clueless as hell.

  • Ahhh...not every NATO country has it out for Cuba, Americanski. What evil empire to the north of you - you know, the one with the COMMIE health system? - has regular flights to Havana?

  • @glammis09 da poshel ti, idiot.

  • You know Cuba wouldn't be in such shape if the USA gave a shit about it. I'm suprised how well this country has been despite being hated by every NATO country and having very few trading allies.

  • Aww Poor Barber...lol

  • Anything about Cuba has to have a strong social and political component, but I wish Bourdain would put more emphasis on the food. That goes for other episodes too.

  • imo they're right for keeping the original feel, gentrification has ruined places like new york, you'd be lucky to find a dive bar nowadays thanks to puffy pretentious over priced dirty money flowing through. and i don't think tony got the desired effect from this show eating posh for show food instead of the gritty local diet he usually displays. i will say i welcome cuba with open arms so long as their cigars are more readily available at a slightly more reasonable price.

  • Die Fidel, so your people can be free to express themselves maybe even internet.

  • viva Fidel!!

  • Spanish colonization nearly decimated the indian population in Cuba. Then the importation of slaves to harvest the sugar crop. The Spanish American War, then the stealing of Guantanamo Bay. Then the Bay of Pigs. Is it any wonder why Cuba is suspicious of Americans and their money. This guy shows the ignorance of many Americans. Any cook has more intelligence than this fool.

  • those ball park hog dog's looked like dried up assholes!

  • @POPCANCOCK LMFAO >D

  • This was awesome

  • holly shit! poor baber!!

  • This was very good. Indeed Cuba is famous for his great health care system, top notch education system and the unnecessary restrictions it puts on its citizens' freedom.

    Cuba needs to embrace democracy.

  • Well, lets remember that this is something that most cubans NEVER get to experience, all that food and luxury is only for the tourists. The journalist lady and that dude are there just to ensure he doesnt publish something hes not supposed to. In reality everything is censored and watch the documentary on youtube on how cuban teachers and police make profit from prostituting the students. Cuba is beautiful but the reality is that theres so much ugliness because of the corruption of govt.

  • @taurusnbr1 Corruption insist in Cuba and America. Look what happened in Wall Street and state of our economy, unemployment and the mortgage mess.

Some countries, corruption is worst than others, but corruption is everywhere. It just the level of corruption that separate Cuba and Denmark

  • @md991free Yes, corruption does exist in the US but at least the community will not be thrown into jail, left to rot just because they oppose their govt. They rob their citizens of their basic human rights.

  • @taurusnbr1 I agree with you. The Cuban government needs an overhauled. Nothing last forever and it shall happened eventually.

  • he goes to cuba and he doesnt even have pork with black beans and rice?!

    pssh

  • @GrowlitheTheGlorious He had it in previous clips.

  • @GrowlitheTheGlorious did you watch part 1?

  • they cut off the last line, which i think is the most powerful line of the show. in the end he says, "Look at it, because it is beautiful, and because it is still here." As someone who has spent some time in the Caribbean, and in the ratty, dirty third world part, not in the touristy part, I understand what he means. It is so rare to see the kind of things this footage shows. It seems to be a living museum. I hope to see it someday.

  • k es esto, that no real, todo eso fue preparado, es todo mentira whoaoooooooo,

  • Embarrasing questions for Hipster New Yorkers gentrifying in Brooklyn New York , driving the locals out of the old Neighborhood ,, That sorta stuff doenst have anything to do with International Politics

  • the fixer is a hotty!

  • Klasse ,wie der Bartschneider dem Anthony die halbe Fresse blutig rasiert , weil er so nervös ist. ( lustig gemeint )

  • Very good!!! I am cuban and I think Tony is fair with his criteria of the sytem and more important the people who is involve regular citizens indeed are wating for a change to happen!!! however until then lets just wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hahaha the kim kardash line was the best one tony's ever said.

  • great episode! I live in hong kong, a city of glass and steel boxes as tony said it, wish we had a bit of havana color here! the fans dancing at the baseball games were awesome.

  • so the barber is a freemason

  • @Samwerly hahaha i thought i was the only one who saw that!

  • I would rather live in Cuba than in China.

  • @tigerlovesrupert i would rather live in america then either of those two

  • Makes me wanna go back home I miss my country

  • It was nice to finally see a documentary about Cuban culture as opposed to politics, but I just wish Tony would have gone to less tourist traps. Plus, I have seen dozens of shows about Havana, it's too bad they did not go out into the countryside. To be honest, it was kind of a mediocre effort on their part. Still a great show.

  • @miamifootbal we created a great documentary that shows some of the countryside of Cuba, (search on HULU - Pastport: Cuba) its really a great story about Cubans going back to see family in all over Cuba.

  • To all you ignorant Americans that comment on this video, first of all you know NOTHING about what actually goes on inside that country. It is for ONCE nice to see someone go there and actually video tape the AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, and FUN things that go on in my country. As you can tell the people there are as happy as can be even though they may be going through so much misfortune. They find the best in anything to be happy and okay.

  • @taniaxom And as to all you Cuban people. Aren't you happy that for once someone is actually showing the beauty of our country instead of the misfortune? You're all so ignorant that you can't even see what's in front of you. Thanks to Anthony we can see that not only is this country, yes very poor, but that it is in it's own very beautiful. Its not like here in the USA when people have a problem with money everyone gets stressed and what not, over there they find the best in things to be happy.

  • The show is always something else. But It would have been far more interesting If Bourdain would have had a meal, a litlle walk and a talk with any person from the oposition.Maybe another point of view. He is just making statement and wondering this and that, with one side of the story. Great show anyway.

  • The whole BS is that...with Pres Bush, and Pres Obama...none of them seem to care about improving relations with Cuba, Vietnam , etc. We have this guy, Tony Bourdain who does more to improve US foreign relations than any other public US figure...and all he does officially is host a TV show. Yet, this is the guy that I want to host my voice in any poly-national sense...in where we can all find a way to get along.

  • ....but nope! I like! Lol

  • I almost disliked this vid because he mentioned Kim kardashiyan

  • But you are absolutely right Tony, heart breakingly beautiful. I don't like the fact that you went to Her, but am glad you understand her and got to see her !

  • The roof in the stadium is crumbling ? But Tony did you not say that the gringo money goes towards restorations ? I guess it's just another lie of the communist and murderous regime you so badly had to go and visit. Hope you happy now.

  • thanks for uploading the show!!!

  • @runewinja85 don't mention it
