Hello, I've got a question.

This is the first time that I'm working with a mod, so I'm totally noob at it ;)

Does this mod work at online tracks and then I mean, that others expirience the same mod who's driving at that track that moment?

Maybe this was a good question for the TM-forums, but I think it's better to ask an expert ;)

@SkylerOfficial Yes! If the mod has been uploaded, it's zip file usually comes with a locator file (.loc extension) which links to the uploaded mod.

This way online players who enter a track that uses this mod will automatically download it from the net (locator link), and should show up ingame as soon as it's finished downloading.

@trueboss926 Just open the sample track and export the mediatracker clips, then import them into your track, and then use them on the spots you want the rain to be on.

wait.. is this for TMNF or TMN ESWC?! if is for eswc, how can i install it?

@Psychenzo It works for both. For TMNF you just have to put everything in your MyDocuments/Trackmania directory.

For the old ESWC you have to place them in your Program Files/Trackmania directory, each folder where it belongs manually.

@Psychenzo Yep! I don't remember exactly how folders went, but it works with a mod folder containing the zip files, just like tmnf.

You have to export/import the MT effects that come with the sample track! (Open it to see how it works)

Yes, you can replace the files in Gamedata/Stadium/Image (something like that)

But of course, this is not recommended since you'd have to reinstall the game to undo the changes :P

The rain effect works with the mediatracker. When you download the mod, make sure you get the sample track file. You should export the MT clips from there and then use them on your track :)
