I really enjoy, that someone finally made a cellphone video after getting the phone! Cause nobody ever does like a video 5 months after etc... Thank you!!!! :)
i cant wait to get this phone on friday :D :D iv heard its the best because all the other BB's freeze and my friend has this one and its really fast and doesnt freeze atall
Nice follow up review. I like your enthusiasm, it's catching! I have an iPhone 3GS but you've talked me into getting a 9700 & loading BB os 6 onto it as soon as soon as it's available (as the 9700 looks classier than the 9780). Keep up the good work!
yes i love it too BUT, i had a browser push message icon come up a couple of days ago, (little yellow globe) and i have NO idea on how to remove it or find the push. it is driving me crazy. i used to work for att and it sucks that i cant get it to come off.. can you help. lol

@eric41996 torch is the latest so i guess its much better.. its like a combination of BB Bold and iPhone.. but if u just wanna try out BB i suggest u get this phone..
My first blackberry was this bold 9700 and to date it has lived up to its expectations. It is a solid and durable phone. I love how dense it feels in my hand knowing its not cheaply built. I did hold a torch demo the other day and have to say I loved the feeling even more. Now I want the torch and the playpad. For those that follow the lateset 'Entourage' season, notice how Ari Gold walks around with his Blackberry Bolds in one hand. Sometimes he's got two...Ari, your the man.
"Go buy this phone you guys!" ...as you hear his iPhone text message notification go off in the background. Haha. Full battery at the end of the day? Yeah, he's been using the iPhone.
i'm thinking of getting the curve 8900 or the bold 9700 and my biggest thing is that the 9700 doesn't have the trackball and the keys are different...this will also be my first blackberry. which one do you recommend and which one is better?
hi can you or one of your views answer a question for me please? I have had android since its release with the G1 and although i am aware of the vast differences in blackberry and android i am not familiar with BB software at all. However since its popularity i have always wanted one and i mean REALLY wanted one. Do you think it is worth it? Thank you :)
ths phone is amazing i have both iphone and bold and for some reason i rather use this phone over the iphone i really recomend it its a really good phone and no problems with the track pad so its good so far
wen u pay for an app in the app world is it just like itunes? or does it go on ur monthly bill bc im switching frm iphone 4 ive had soo many probs with it so if any 1 could answer my question tht would b great :)
I've had iPhone 3GS, then replaced that for a BB BOLD 9700 -thats currently for sale (ITEM) 250658984758 - ends today 07/07/2010
I now have a HTC Desire (very similar to Iphone - but not as locked down)
All are good phones. Depends what you want. Iphone and HTC are 8hrs battery life which is poor. But they are media rich phones. The Blackberry is sturdy, robust and boring, but does what its supposed to do, and the battery life is excellent!
@NASSERGTR Yes, for now....a slider BB is coming out in the fall (not my cup of tea) and there is a rumor that the 9700 will be upgraded, revised, and released as a 9700a.....(more memory, higher mp camera, and I assume better os6 compatibility)....
hi im wondering wha i should get... a balckberry bold 9700 or iphone 3g i know 4g come out but does are my two choices... i mostly use phones for txting and playing minigames, surfing the web, listen to music and videos which one is better at these things??? im a teen so i not really into business apps or stuff like that.
@Joelolivas10 ths phone is amazing i have both iphone and bold and for some reason i rather use this phone over the iphone i really recomend it its a really good phone and no problems with the track pad so its good so far
whatever your using to get the battery lasting all day long you have to hook me up or something i get 8 to 10 hours using EDGE like wtf i dont understand it is it because of my twitter obsession and that app runs all the time even when im asleep when its charging i would love to know what i'm doing wrong
I'm glad to see the quality of BlackBerry's. My BlackBerry Pearl 8100 is getting on to 2 years old, and other than a crack on the screen that was my fault and a slightly sticky tracking ball, it has held up well. battery life is good too. Only niggles are it losing track of the server on Facebook and randomly going into standby mode. But I might have contributed to those problems.
I agree, this phone is snappy and works great, play videos great(records video great also), music is flawless, very social friendly and a few games here and there. I know that theres a lot of touch screen phone(most are laggy and not as smooth), but BBBII is the full qwerty KING,
Yo one of my questions is whether the keys are working great. Thats the only con I may have that will factor in my decision. Are they still working as good as the first time you used it? Are they worned down? Still sensitive and functioning efficiently? I'm afraid after a year the keys will get jammed and suck. I'll be waiting til like may and maybe june to see any other phones that might come out before I choose. Hopefully At&T will reduce the price on this by then =)
@tuan1is1azn Ive had my 9700 for 3 months and it looks absolute brand new. the keys are still 100%. i heard somebody say something about paint chipping off, but i havent witnessed that at all. The only thing that isnt perfect like new is that it isnt instant all the time anymore. Sometimes, i noticed, if i open the menu or an application it takes a few seconds to register, but when i first got it it was instant. That said, i have downloaded a lot of crap onto it =P
9900 is better

I'm interested in buying a Blackberry, but the problem is which one? Blackberry Bold 9700, Blackberry Curve 9300, or the new Blackberry Torch?

I can only speak for the 9700, having owned one for several months. Simply put, if you get one you won't regret it.
