I love Kevyn Aucoin, he was a very brillient makeup artist and he's really missed. I have his book Face Forward and I had the pleasure to meet him once and he signed my book. He was a blessing to those he touched and a really good friend.

Yes, they could be twins....her died from kidney and liver failure becuse of his painkillers addiction, (he would take painkillers due to a pituitary tumor diagnosed a year before)

Perhaps not the "greatest" but certainly one of the most ambitious. Talented, a brilliant reproducer of what was, and a salesman...he was "iconic", he copied Way Bandy in every way possible and sold his soul to celebrities. There you have it.

I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE HE'S GONE! What a force he was. Not only did he give his gift of make-up, but he gave his gift of love and acceptance. No matter who anybody was! That's humbleness. I swear i still read and study his books, i have everyone of them. he has inspired me to want to be a make-up artist.

When i found out he was gone, i was in disbelief! i didn't want to believe it! And then his mother, OMG! i pray that they are at peace in heaven, rest in peace! Our Kevyn!

The best part about Kevyn to me, is that he was completely SELF trained. That's amazing--he was so talented. I love Making Faces--it amazes me how he transformed so many women into look alikes, with such accuracy! I love him. He's a true artist.
