  • It seems these never made it to dvd which is a huge shame, raw poker without the silly characters that players have made for viewing figures these days. I saw a clip the other day of phil helmuth making a basic calling error that an amateur would frown upon from LNP series 1. In 1999 poker was new exciting and dangerous :).

  • @leefost These origianlly aired in the UK, and the discovery channel aired the shows for the US. Not sure if they still run any poker coverage though...

  • I remember watching these many years ago and the commentator commenting on a play having a cigarette 'directly in the centre of his mouth, for maximum smoke inhalation'.

    You don't get lines like that these days.
