  • People prefer breeds like warmbloods and thoroughbreds, theres no offence to Arabians, its just that people probably didn't find them succesful eventers, thats just how it is, sorry!

  • my arabian/andalusian is very successful at eventing. better than the TB's at my barn...wouldnt make judgements unless you own/ride one.

  • Arabians are fine when they're bred with other heftier rides. It's rare to find one with the jumping ability and movement to do eventing successfully at the higher levels. Mix breeds is what it's all about. Breed an Arabian with a larger boned and quieter warmblood or even some sort of lighter draft and then we'll talk.

  • me nd mii horse could jump most of the xc on dis video !!

  • good at jumping...

  • it's cause they aren't...

  • If arabians are so god damn good at jumping why arent they in rolex or the olyompics or grand prix?

  • becuase they cant jump 5 ft

quarter horses are really good jumpers to but u dont see many in grnad prix

warmbloods arent the only freakin breed that can jump

  • lol what ? i never said that it's only warmbloods! and i own a QH and we event and i know they can jump high not like 6ft but like 4ft or 4ft6

I personally think that t/bs are the best horse for eventing or anything english for that matter but that just a opinnion

  • its just the persons opinion!!

    geesee.. give it a rest!

no 1 wants to hear people fighting on sumthing soo stupid.

  • there a bit too hot blooded, and not thick enough to take such an impact on cross country and stuff. but i love the breed :D

  • @sasorixdeidara4eva to bad there was an anglo-arabian at rolex 2010

  • EXCELLENT riding! I LOVED the commentarry (i can't spell worth a darn!). It really makes me think about my 3 horses and which are REALLY more suitable. THANK YOU for an exellent video.

  • will coleman guy's rather cute. hehe.

  • Uhuh =P

  • nice video...eventing rocks....cross country=my life

  • Hey i just learned jumping but my friend she has a 4 year old and she can jump high and they might start doing 1 day eventing

  • Arabians have heart. I have one and she is only 14.3 and she jumps 4 foot with ease!!! My trainer said she could take me really far.

  • Does anyone know who the two people are that spoke in the video??

  • Bonnie Mosser and Will Coleman. Both are 4* event riders.

  • I love eventing. It looks sooo fun! I really wanna start 3-day eventing. I just need to do a dressage test.

  • No effence, but it takes A LOT more training then a dressage test.

  • That is a lovely video.

I LOVE Morven Park in Leesburg, VA. What a fabulous equestrian facility! I had my B rating there along with several dressage rallies, dressage shows and xc schools! Awesome!

  • Great vid!!

  • I have an arab... 14.2 and can jump 1* she's amazing.. unfortunatly I've outgrown her and she's too old to do anything bigger then PN.

  • Yeah.

    eventing is tough.

I rode in Stono River Stables Horse Trials in april and I took 5th wooh!

I'm getting a new horse in a month and will be able to enter again and hopefully take first in the trainer level. =]

  • I thought the horse fell too xD nice video awesome horses and riders!! =)

  • sweet, i event- hopefully in a year or 2 ill be doing that with my tb mare wisher <<3

  • Wow! Both horse and rider have to be SO brave. Someday, hopefully I'll do it.

  • the jump at 1:10 i thought the horse had fallen over...

  • I love eventing!!

  • have some of that

  • I was at Morven this past weekend and my trainer was showing me some of the CCI* cross country- I could barely believe it was Prelim! I'm hoping to move up soon but that made me a little wary of doing my planned one star in the fall! Morven is really nice though; I love Virginia.

  • ooo the 2007 CCI and Advanced Horse Trials were this past weekend. The horses were gorgeous

  • very nice video !!!

  • have you ever filmed Waredaka (i dont know if I spelt that right). ive only been there once to groom but it seemend nice. Not as big as Morven though

  • Thoroughbreds thoroughbreds thoroughtbreds, wow so what what about Arabians? They are just as good, and getting alot better in the eventing feild too.

  • I love Arabians too, let me know when one is doing eventing in virginia and I'll shoot the footage.

  • They are! We have 2 amazing Polish Arabs eventing at our barn and they can jump the moon and run incredibly fast just like our TBs & WBs. Too bad a lot of event people are very into their TBs. I'd like to hear about Holsteiners in eventing myself!

  • I know, I have a polish arab that can jump 4 ft., but sadly she is for sale now.

  • Arabians just don't have the heart. I have never seen one in the upper levels, but I have seen them in the lower levels.

  • I'm going to a dressage show there in Febuary! Rosie and I are going to kick butt! (haha i hope)

  • I competed there it is a great show!

  • Nice video...I really miss 3 day riding!!!

  • very proffesional nice video

    thank you !

  • That was a very well put together video. Thanks for sharing!
