An interesting little factoid: the trombone player is the father of atheist Dan Barker. I'm reading his book, "Godless: How an Evangelical Preacher Became One of America's Leading Atheists" and he mentions it in the first chapter (page 5) which prompted me to look this up.
@bestvalue Interesting. Thanks for reporting this. I always enjoy the little "duet" Judy does with the trombonist; almost as if they're enjoying a little secret together.
Thanks for posting this. Just for the record, the correct title is "I Want to go Back to Michigan (Down on the Farm)." It can be heard in Laurel & Hardy's "Pardon Us," sung my a male quartette.
I agree. It's true that Liza owns a great voice, but you can't compare it with her mother's. Judy's voice was one of the most beautiful voices in the world, probably the most beautiful, and we have to thank her the day she decides to act on stage (L)
I love her voice. I wish I have her voice. She is a very tetented women. I'm practice to sing like her. I'm almost there. She is my favorite person. Man, I want to meet her for real live.
@Bluejeans0701 I have to agree with you, but Liza does has a beautiful voice, just not as incredible as her mothers. I enjoyed them singing both together though!
Compare this with Liza Minnelli's version of "I Love a Piano," also written by Irving Berlin & also on YouTube. Mom & daughter both had a way with Berlin songs.

Though I realize some may find this comment offensive, I really prefer Judy Garland to her daughter Liza.
