What would be more realistic is if you died you had to respawn as one of the Strogg, It would add more thrill as your party of survivors would get picked off and would really put the pressure on sticking together of course then the game would most likely become extremely difficult but it would make for an intense survival mode instead of just get the hell out.

@LegoMasterAlex Look for a server with the Game Type dusk.

On connecting it will ask to download.

After that you can play offline if you want by choosing Mods on the main menu.

While the map, being Area 22, looks the same, and the strogg still have the same models, it should be apparent that the gameplay is very different.

But they switch the scenery a lot as well like a lot of the maps have random weather and daytime settings like it could be night on area 22 or raining on island then overcast on yellowstone.

Go to play online and find the server with dusk as it's game type.

It will ask if you want to download when you connect.

you can just download the DEMO version with only 1 map, but u have 2 buy the full version for about 25-30$ or 20€
