Got mine today exept nothing happened lol its completely charged plugged in my battery to the Remote Controller and it doesnt do anything lol Help Anyone
I bought one of these but found mine got into a kind of unrecoverable oscillation that lead to inevitable crashes. I've got plenty of experience of fixed wing r/c flying and I've flown both of my nephew's larger mosquito helicopters without a problem, guess I just got a duffer...
i used a heli hac tail rotor for forwards flight i goes alot i me alot faster, but it cant go backwards it just sinks when you try to go backwards and the controls are inveerted i like it inverted though...give it a try;)
This is the best vid I've seen showing how controllable these things are. But I don't agree that the Analy (I know it's Alany, lol) flies just as well. I have both Mosquito and Alany and the Mosquito just feels so much more resposive like it has better electronics or something.
i just got mine of these but it seems to spin in the air not much just very slightly and i cant seem to make it hover still without it movin is this just me getting used to it and by the way its a fantastic toy so if your lookin for a heli i would definatley get this. even though im not the best pilot its seems very robust after the few crashes ive had and gets butterflys in your tum every time you fly it
Does this not fly forwards at all without weights?...because it is 3 channel, I assumed it wouldn't need weights. I don't like the idea of weighing it down cause that flying forward almost the only option. It doesn't hover so well with weights and I wanted a micro heli that traveled forwards well, and hovered well.
just got mine today...its deffinitely worth your money....kickass....i put all of the weights that came with it on it for it to fly forward well enough
does yours fly forward very well? It seemed to in the video, but mine has a realy hard time going forward, like superslow moe. or even backwards sometimes.
As jamesthesquirrel mentioned, I do have the little weights on the motor guards. I also trimmed some of the rubber guard that is below the rear tail motor leaving about 1/16". I also removed the 2 screws at the rear legs that holds the upper and lower body together. All of which helps to shift the center of gravity forward, which will help with the forward flight.
I have not opened up the body yet. If I were to do that I would see if the battery could be shifted forward at all. I would also think of unwrapping the antenna from the back legs and re-wrapping it onto the front legs. Doing that I may be able to get rid of the motor weights and reduce the overall weight of the heli.
wow nice flying

Did you modify your Micro Mosquito Helicopter?
You seem to have some fairly good forward motion. Even with the bigger tail rotor that came with mine it only moves forward at a snails pace.

how long does the battery last and how long to recharge?
reply pls
minircteam 4 years ago
I get a good 7 minutes of flight. It takes around 25 minutes to charge.
elgecko1989 4 years ago
it take a long time to charge because it take a long of energy to power a small gear enough energy to push the large gear fast enough for it to fly

awesome flying mate !!

hmz3000 4 years ago
there is a difference and one main diff. is that this has green lights, which means its the real version!
DirtCheap 4 years ago
I never said that it doesn't go forward when asked to but the weights at the front help it to go faster in forward motion
jamesthesquirrel 4 years ago
Is it really easy to trim? right now i have the picc0-z micro heli. and i cab't even trim it!
ThurDude 4 years ago
Is this an alany one or the real deal?
viridae 4 years ago
This is the real deal from Radio Shack.
A friend got the Alany one. It flies just as well. The only thing I've noticed is that the plastic feels more brittle then the Radio Shack one.

ok when its spinning use the middle nob on your controller turn it left if its spinning right and if its spinning right turn it left

you can see when the heli is close up he/she has put these rubber thingys on the bottom 2 help it put more weight on the front so it goes forward
