AXILQUEEN... Freddie Mercury definitely could play guitar and actually wrote Crazy Little Thing on the guitar while in a bathtub. He also layed down the acoustic guitar track on the studio album (The Game) well before Brian May came in to record his part. He also wrote Ogre Battle and Stone Cold Crazy on guitar. I remember Brian and Roger being asked in a japanese interview how good of a guitar player Freddie really was and they mentioned this.
