I have a M3 and I need money I tried to find a cheaper replacement but I cant. I love 350 and lots of other sport cars but I cant go down sorry. Put in a Borla exhaust system with headers, a racing chip, and intakeS, cuz the 07 has twin intakes and that car will be even more of a beast than it is now.
I have a 350Z, and I know for a fact, that the build quality is not better than an M3. and by no means does the Z walk an M3. it would take an 07+ Z to compete with an M3. HR Z vs M3 is about a driver's race. anything less, and the M3 walks the Z.

@Hellburned just a heads up,there are 2 types of 350z,the :slower"version 2003-3006 and the 2007+ hr version which is rated at 306hp but in reality the are more like 320hp and much lighter then the m3,so most likely you beat the older version,oh and they look same..

I have a custom exhaust from a local shop and as far as the power, it has SO much more mid-upper range power. I also have a K&N intake. That's all I have on my Z. The Z is quite heavy and has only got 280 bhp (well 313) for the newer versions but still 30 bhp less than the 343 bhp M3. But in my opinion the Z is the more beautiful car and I prefer owning a Z to an M3, not because I could not afford an M3 but because I just like the Z more.

I've driven both cars & i have to say the M3 is a beast, i'd chose it; but the 350z is also very nice.

I have a M3 and I need money I tried to find a cheaper replacement but I cant. I love 350 and lots of other sport cars but I cant go down sorry. So i would probably just work harder and keep my beloved M3. I never even consider racing with smaller cars like 350 or shelby or camaro ss. If it is safe i race bigger guys like M5 and corvette and ... . even if I lose I still have my respect. :))

I like both cars, the Z's are very beautifull and original, but, for myself i'd rather have an M3 e46.

SMG M3 was quick but tricky and damned shifting was soo quick

I don't know man lol. He must have been scared cuz the car was brand new, or he must have sucked at driving lol. I drove an 07. Trust me dude, it was FAST. And it was stock too. Put in a Borla exhaust system with headers, a racing chip, and intakeS, cuz the 07 has twin intakes and that car will be even more of a beast than it is now.

I have a 350Z, and I know for a fact, that the build quality is not better than an M3. and by no means does the Z walk an M3. it would take an 07+ Z to compete with an M3. HR Z vs M3 is about a driver's race. anything less, and the M3 walks the Z.

I drove a shit load of cars abused them, raced them u name it, me and a buddy my neighbor worked in the same dealer. I personally like the G35 coupe vs. the 350Z i drove both car on manual or auto raced each other in everyway auto v auto. I now drive a 07 nissan altima 3.5SE that i use to commute w/ g/f. I still keep my BMW at home garaged too many tickets!

Buying a cheaper and slower car and then speeding it up aftermarket is a surefire way of ending up in the shop soon.

@Hellburned just a heads up,there are 2 types of 350z,the :slower"version 2003-3006 and the 2007+ hr version which is rated at 306hp but in reality the are more like 320hp and much lighter then the m3,so most likely you beat the older version,oh and they look same..

@durin23 Yea when I was stock I put down 252 hp to the wheels(plus 20-30 now). I did that when I just got the car. I have a custom exhaust from a local shop and as far as the power, it has SO much more mid-upper range power. I also have a K&N intake. That's all I have on my Z. I want a new plenum but I don't feel like dropping the money. I'm about to get a bike to cure my speed need."tourbonetics single"... NICE

@Hellburned Well I got a Z and still like the M3. It is a magnificent and very fast car. Faster than the Z, and whoever says the opposite knows nothing about physics. The Z is quite heavy and has only got 280 bhp (well 313) for the newer versions but still 30 bhp less than the 343 bhp M3. But in my opinion the Z is the more beautiful car and I prefer owning a Z to an M3, not because I could not afford an M3 but because I just like the Z more.
