  • That makes me want to cry...............

  • "keep your booger hook off the bang switch"

I've hear that ignorant statement to the point that it makes me sick.

I tell these people that its not my boogerhook that I'm worried about. What concerns me is the drawstring of a jacket, a ballpoint pen, a small piece of twig. Hell, ANYTHING can get into the triggerwell and cause that fucker to fire, and there is NO real safety to prevent to lock the trigger.

I've seen TWO AD's involving glocks, and neither shooter had his finger on the trigger.

  • @tradernorton05 No offense, but I have to retort by saying: buy a holster worth a damn. The Glock is a true double action, and no more dangerous than a double action revolver. A NY1 spring makes it even more resistent to NEGLIGENT discharges. And if you witnessed two with no finger on the trigger, than you witnessed shooters carrying in a negligent manner. Period. What in the hell is a person doing carrying ANY firearm around loose pens, chapstick, etc.? It's preposterous.

  • @tradernorton05 Well your issue seems to be that you're carrying a gun that has no safety on it in the most retarded way possible. I'd also like to point out if you have a gun with a thumb safety on it and you're carrying it ready to go in a backpack loaded with all kinds of shit like that; one thing could move the safety lever and another thing could move the trigger.

If you must carry this way, I would advocate not cambering until ready to fire.

  • The Glock can not fire unless the triggr is pulled. Put it in a good holster that covers the trigger and you're good to go. Or if you must, put a NY trigger in it.

  • Why destroy a perfectly good gun??????

  • @smwest1978 It's my daily carry gun to this day and functions perfectly fine once the dust was blown out. Why call some little scratches in the finish "destroyed"?

  • @smwest1978 Trigger is an easy repair and a few scrapes to the finish are no big deal, plus Hogue makes a grip sleeve cover.

  • @floatingaxehead dude you did pretty good, Su espanol es bueno.. no mal haha

  • @floatingaxehead muy bueno el español, se entiende perfectamente, Muy bueno el video.

  • Thats one way to get that Sandblasted finish.

  • Love it.

  • At 6:48, you turned your Glock into a "Noisy Cricket". Classic.

  • Sem duvidas agora acredito que a glock é a melhor

  • Is this guy in AZ? it looks like that he is

  • @HalomasterA69 Yeah. At the time, I was based in Tucson.

  • @floatingaxehead Ya i live in AZ as well i thought because of the mountaints in the back

  • Hey buddy i thought the point was to know if the glock would go off ( fire a shot ) witch off course dint becaous it dint had even a F-ing mag in it so how do your stupid redneck ass even thought that it would shot anything at all u retarded moron?...

  • @alicha13 In the future, it will benefit you to have a clue what you're talking about before calling someone a moron. The Glock has no magazine safety, and the striker was still captured with the trigger still set. Having a magazine in it has no bearing on whether or not the mechanism would have tripped.

I welcome questions and debate, but misspelled, rude, and stupid posts that are insulting and use profanity have a way of getting users quickly blocked.

  • How much did you pay for that Glock?

  • @metribblet $431 after tax, and it still functions just fine, and is my daily carry piece (after putting on new, steel sights, of course).

  • @floatingaxehead 431 new or used?

  • @Grunt922 New. Glock is very generous with their LE discount, and if you're a Glock Shooting Sports Foundation member (GSSF dor org, I think), you get one Glock at LE pricing per year, plus services and prizes at GSSF matches you attend.

  • @floatingaxehead thank ya for the response.

  • @floatingaxehead wow where do you live i paid 644 after tax brand new..

  • @JUKEBOXX1990 Ouch! You got robbed, my friend. I bought in Tucson, but Glock publishes their LE/GSSF member pricing and it's the same nationwide. You just have to buy from a good dealer.

  • @floatingaxehead i live in california so pretty much every whre i went was the same price for a brand new one..and you think i got robbed my friend paid like 700 or an xd45

  • @JUKEBOXX1990 Ugh. I'm a straight-up XD hater. For that kind of money I'd have desperately steered them toward the M&P 45. I've never really cared for S&W autos, but they finally got it right with the M&P series and are the only "mass market" gun to actually to the poly-gun better than Glock. HKs just aren't affordable enough for me to call 'em mass market. I feel bad for shooters in CA...

  • @floatingaxehead yea it sucks over here..but hey we try..and yes the m&p are very nice shooters..thanks for feedback

  • you are one crazy dude ..love your video man

  • I have watched this vid like 6 times, never gets old

  • Holy crap dude!!! What'd that poor Glock ever do to you??? Lol. Great video... Wow, I still can't believe you did that to your own personal gun...and that it actually worked after being dragged behind a truck!!!

  • what is the name of music in the video? LOVE IT! Thanks!

  • @kosmosleha I don't recall. It's royalty free music that came with Apple's iLife suite.

  • it would never go off w/o a bullet in the chamber :)

  • @kosmosleha HAHAHAHA!!! Well said, sir!

  • why would you do that to your pistol

  • @lcstown I pretty much said EXACTLY why I was doing it at the beginning of the video. Why would you ask a question that had already been answered? Beside, it's a Glock. It still works just fine and as I have answered MULTIPLE times, it's still my daily carry gun.

  • Thanks for taking one for the team!!!!!!

  • this video makes me sad.

  • And what if you were wrong and the gun had gone off? GUN SAFETY!!!!!!!!!

  • @290hawkeye Impossible, because I very clearly showed the gun was EMPTY. For crying out loud, pay attention before you post or try scolding somebody on safety.

  • @floatingaxehead I think hes trying to say that what if a round magically popped into the chamber? i mean, it happens to me all the time. bullets know magic now.

  • @johnnyartillery LOL! That must be it. Because we even showed that we decided to do this without a magazine in the gun. Magic bullets, by gum! LOL.

  • @floatingaxehead Now that I own a Glock21 SF, I can honestly say,it's a great gun. Very reliable and accurate. It wont go off unless someone pulls the trigger. From watching your video, anyone can see that it wouldn't go off if someone dropped it.

  • @floatingaxehead Now that I own a Glock21 SF, I can honestly say,it's a great gun. Very reliable and accurate. It wont go off unless someone pulls the trigger. From watching your video, anyone can see that it wouldn't go off if someone dropped it.

  • i was waiting for it to smack the dude in the back of the truck

  • " if you keep your booger hook off the bang switch" lmao

  • I have a Clock 19 and its never let me down yet..Only jammed one time when i was using those shitty reloads at the shooting range.

  • Glocks are the best sidearm ever invented !!! I was in the military when they first hit the market and as the world knows it simply "changed everything" I was shocked when I saw a 1911 fail a simple mud test...

there are a few die hard 1911 fans still around but they are usually

the ones still living in denial of the fact that Glocks are far superior

to their weapon of choice. Each and every time they test 1911's they

fail and are embarased compared to a Glock.. lol :) 20 young &

    still the best

  • @Glassblower718 I can't quite jump on board with that and say Glocks are far superior. After all, that's a 1911 on my hip in this vid. But the Glock is my daily carry, now. It's just a matter of different purposes. They're both great guns- simply have different attributes.

  • @floatingaxehead My cousins were in town 'miami" we

were having a good time just back from the range when

we watched your video... We're all retired military and

your right extermely bias... because all of use have used many different weapons in our time... I am impressed by the weight, the feel, the accuracy, the

polymers, non reflectiveness, the ease of field stripping,

the ghot trigger and even the name "Glock" I trust my

life to God, and carry one everyday... but it's just another opinion..

  • I have to second the question about the 1911-style handgun. I've always wondered if a 9mm 1911 is as durable as a Browning Mark III (or a Glock).

  • "I can't believe I just did this" LMAO You probably sold some glocks though. I'll probably buy one with one of my next gun purchases. And yeah, if you trip and have your finger in the trigger guard you're probably going to fire the gun. I've never seen a gun just go off by itself. I hear it happens in full auto weapons sometimes they cook off a round. And slam fires are sometimes possible but very rare. So yeah... go glock... Do the 1911 next...

  • lol jumping glock

  • Wow, u hurt my feelings when u said it was NEW lol. I was in shock for a sec but then again I only have 1 (Glock 27) and I wouldn't drag mine thru my living room lol. Enjoyed the footage though. U certainly made your point. I didn't think I could feel any better about my little .40 cal but u've given me yet another bragging point. I can't believe ur still using it! Beaming like a proud father over here.. Great vid

  • Damn Glock is bad ass

  • let's see THAT done on any other brand handgun!

    glocks 4ever!

  • Mythbusters! lol

  • I guess I have to admit -- because of this video, I think I'll break down and buy a glock 17. A gun collector in my area agreed with the idea that these guns can stand up to a ton of punishment, and still function properly. (We used Brownings in the CF, and I might be prejudiced against glocks for that reason). But LIBERTARIANS ARE STILL CROOKS!!!

  • @LoversFashion I love how you keep saying Libertarians are crooks without a shred of supporting argument. My government stealing half my paycheck through taxation to give to somebody who won't work? THAT is theft.

A Glock 17 is a great trainer, right up until somebody has hands too small. If you go that route, try to get a newer Gen4 model. Also, I remove the trigger spring to teach people to follow though and shoot from reset. Just a tip.

  • @LoversFashion How are libertarians crooks? What's mine is mine, and what's yours is yours. I work for what I get, you work for what you get. Want to know who's a crook? Not to be un-original, but Obama. Some bastard decides that I have to put my hard earned money into health care for some asshole bum who did nothing with his life? Complete bullshit. Fuck that bum, I'd put that Glock right to his fuckin' head and eat the brains that came out the back after I pulled the trigger.

  • @KillingOptions LIBERTARIANS ARE CROOKS because they don't have ethics about the way they make money, and the effect it has on working people. The reason why people don't work in your country is because your corporations skim too much money from your consumers, and as a result, the working class becomes cynical and despondent. Just ask FloatingAxeHead how much it cost to fuel his truck to perform this video alone.

  • 6:49 - The ever elusive "glock frog". Normally seen on dusty desert trails...

Thanks for sacrificing a new pistol for posterity.

  • i'm not sure what this is proving...that you can ruin a glock?

  • @doctrGreen Fair enough, though I'm not sure why you would consider the Glock ruined. It still fired and functioned, and if you watch my other videos you'll see after a new set of steel (as opposed to Glock's plastic) sights it's my daily carry. The whole point of the gun is its durability as a service pistol. Who cares if it's scratched up? It's not an art piece- it's something that needs to function in the worst of conditions. And it does.

  • @doctrGreen dont blaim rednecks for being rednecks... didnt you noticed the song??

  • i think the glocksplosion happends cuz of dumb ass ppl use hand loaded ammo or just shitty ammo in general

  • What an idiot.

  • @The870Express Thanks for such a constructive, well-reasoned comment. I'll be sure to take your thoughtful and logical statements into consideration in the future. /sarcasm

  • @floatingaxehead Was talking about the guy calling Libertarians crooks..."LoversFashion" He called it a dangerous stunt..even though the glock was not chambered. Didnt gear that towards you, sorry.

  • @The870Express Ah. My apologies as well, then! It can be kind of hard to keep track of people's meaning on these comments sometimes. Yeah, I loved how he thought dragging a hammer forged barrel and steel gun (slide) is now a kaboom waiting to happen. LOL. I have over 1200 rounds of 124 grain +P through the gun since then, with nary a hint of a kaboom... LOL.

  • They should take away your gun permit for doing such a dangerous stunt!!!

And since I'm on a roll -- LIBERTARIANS ARE CROOKS!!!

  • @LoversFashion The gun was empty, genius. There was nothing even remotely dangerous about this.

And I'd love to hear how libertarians are crooks, since they're against the government stealing from you in the form of taxation.

    Think before you post, please.

  • @floatingaxehead Don't get me wrong, your videos generally have a good track record for promoting safety.

But you've got to admit -- that banged-up Glock is now a KABOOM waiting to happen, and your corporations, especially Goldman Sachs and Exxon, are robbing your countrymen more than public taxation.

  • @LoversFashion KaBoom waiting to happen? It's a hammer forged barrel and chamber- I don't really think dinging it up is going to have much effect. Look into the process of hammer forging, seriously. Kabooms happen from double charges of ammo, and on any pistol.

Corporations steal from the public more than taxes?! LOL! Actually, that's where jobs come from. If you think they steal from the public, you have LOT of explaining to do to reason that one out.

  • wow. too much money and time on your hands. the glock is a beast, but its silly to abuse it to prove a point. now its probably all scratched up.

  • @ethdor As if scratches somehow impede the function of the gun? Actually, abusing it is the only way to prove the point, so I don't think it's silly at all. Heck, this gun is still my daily carry, it's far from ruined and you can see it in a few of my other videos, like the Glock Firing Pin Safety. Now if I had dragged a 1911, THAT would be too much money on my hands... LOL.

  • damn that thing took a beating!

    then you did it again.....!

but i guess you`ve proven your point XD

  • wow u sacrificed your glock to prove some youtuber wrong. is the gun all messed up now? or is it ok?

  • @JarheadUSMCM4A1 It's my daily carry. I've got over 1,000 rounds through it since then with not a single stoppage. I'm going to be doing Massad Ayoob's class later this month, and this will be the gun I take. (With a Sig 226 as a backup, in case this one does take a dump.) But at my Glock armorer's course, this 19 still checked out 100% for function.

  • @floatingaxehead good to hear that your gun is still working :D

    awesome vid btw

  • @JarheadUSMCM4A1 how did you get the sights fixed thou?

  • And what if you were wrong and the gun had gone off? GUN SAFETY!!!!

  • @290hawkeye How much more clearly do I need to show this was done on an empty chamber? C'mon man, pay attention before commenting.

  • it's painfull to watch this!

  • I have used the glock many times and even if the triggersafety is damaged the gun can't fire by it self cause of the triple safety system. Don't know about al of them but the 19 also has a safety at the back of the grip so the gun can only fire if its held proparly. so this abuse of a fine gun was totaly uncalled for

  • @Twannetje87 The 19 does not have a grip safety. No Glock does (that's found on XDs). It's also not a "fine" gun- it's a duty gun.

Considering it's still my daily carry, and I have had the opportunity to show others just how durable and reliable the gun is, I would say the video may not have been called for but was totally worth it.

  • Glock on baby! Glock on.

  • Guys, cool it, this gun is one of the most damage resistant guns in history.

  • is it easy use?

  • @8900609 Since being blown/dusted out, it's flawless.

  • wow.....Had i not taken your CCW class I would have never thought different about Glocks and had I not seen this vid well you know LOL Me and Rhodes are seriously thinking about switching now

  • Floating Axehead... is there a law about weather the firearm is concealed or not? Can you carry ankle holster under long-pants?

  • can't believe you did that to your brand new glock

  • @adamstrader12 And it's still my daily carry choice, with well over 1,200 rounds through it since then. Check out my Glock Firing Pin Safety video.

  • ONE more thing... nice fade

  • go to youtube /user/twisted62380 -- this guy has a license to conceal in ohio. He can tell you there is such a license... you don't have to be a cop to carry a gun and you don't have to be FBI to own a sound supressor. -- btw: by NY trigger I was referring to I believe the 8LB one or the heaviest one they have i forget the number...

  • @SpitRhyma Ah. In AZ you can open carry without a permit at all. (And we just passed no-permit CCW legislation.) All NFA items like suppressors, full auto, and short barreled rifles and shotguns are legal here as well. I love my state!

The NY1 trigger is about 8 lbs. and olive drab. This, combined with a 3.5 pound connector make for a GREAT combination in the Glock. Much more consistent, smoother, and just a touch heavier. Watch my video on it.

  • @floatingaxehead I've heard that in Arizona, you just register and pay a $200 tax stamp for suppressors... I've heard that they're very technical in Az and as long as you don't have any felonies (which would mean you can't even have a firearm) you can buy the supressor. I want to move to find out about nevada 1st (I'm in Cali) but I want to move out there and buy IMI Micro-Uzi with sound supressor. + that Serbu Shorty shotgun! That shit is SIIIIICK

  • @SpitRhyma The $200 is a federal transfer tax- that applies no matter what state you're in. Also, you need your Chief Law Enforcement Officer (CLEO) to sign off on it. Tucson Chief of Police won't do it even for cops, so we go to the country Sheriff instead. You can also form a Trust or Corporation to avoid CLEO hassles.

  • @floatingaxehead but if indeed you can carry a gun without even going through an application process I think Az is my state. I have trouble believing that though. Are you saying you can carry a loaded gun at your waste while you're within city limits? Like walkin down 'main st' or something?

  • @SpitRhyma Open carry requires NO permit. None. Buy a gun, and a holster, and walk out of the store with it on your hip- no joke.

No-permit CCW won't take effect until 90 days after this legislative session ends- so possibly around August or September. But same goes, except you can't carry in an establishment that serves alcohol. For that, you need the CCW permit.

  • @floatingaxehead A lot of places wont allow ccw permit holders to carry in an establishment that serves alcohol or the bar area at least if its a restaurant. and if its considered a bar then not at all.

  • @Nicho2177 Depends entirely on what state you're in. Here in AZ, you're good to go with a CCW permit as long as you exercise the adult judgment to not drink while carrying. In PA, you can drink while armed, but you have to be carrying open, I believe... I'm not 100% on that one, but I can ask some of my PA blogging buddies. Regardless, point is it varies from state to state.

  • @floatingaxehead Most people here down south with a CCW permit will carry anywhere no matter what and it is usually overlooked by local law enforcement because they believe the same thing. But it is a touchy situation for people who travel state to state yes.

  • @floatingaxehead lmao@"except you can't carry in an establishment that serves alcohol" -- That's awesome! My friend's dad owns a bar and he says people fight daily and a lot of them are regulars and see each other the next day and just say "hey" like it's nothing. I can imagine if those people had weapons things would go differently... That's crazy though I can't believe I've never heard this about AZ before... AZ is the SHIT!

  • oh btw: it's different in certain states but if you had a license to conceal a weapon or if you were a cop you would know that you NEVER carry a weapon with manual safety on. The manual safety is for when you're removing it from the holster. The holster is the "safety". None of the brinks couriers keep their manual safety on (s&w) and cops don't either. I've spoke to many people with CCW and license to conceal. peace

  • Dragging your gun on the ground is just stupid... You shouldn't feel remorsefull... you should feel like an ass hole.

People who are licensed to holster guns are trained to keep the safety off and the chamber loaded. The safety isn't a safety per se, it's just a lot narrower than the trigger.

  • @SpitRhyma Trained to keep the safety OFF?! "Licensed to holster"? (There's no such license in my state, buddy.) And hate to break it to you pal, but as a certified armorer I can tell you that the trigger safety IS in fact a safety. Why should I feel like an ass for testing something with my own money? It didn't cost you or endanger anyone else.

And before you call somebody stupid, you should try spelling "remorseful" correctly.

  • @floatingaxehead good burn... well you're burning your inheritance at least...

anyways i already told you why you should feel like an ass hole... the argument isn't that the gun will go off when dragged on the ground... a safety is supposed to protect you from firing the gun from ACCIDENTALLY PLACING YOUR FINGER ON THE TRIGGER EINSTEIN! That's why you can buy the NY trigger if you're paranoid... don't get defensive.

  • @SpitRhyma All you're doing is throwing insults around, still not making logical arguments. First, watch my Firing Pin Safety video- I didn't burn any inheritance as this is still my daily carry gun.

    Second, asshole is one word.

Third, I have an NY1 trigger and you still don't know what you're talking about. You're still using bad grammar, and your finger on the trigger argument makes no sense considering revolvers. Seriously, get a clue before you criticize.

  • I am biased as I am used to shooting 1911s. But I will give Glock a few things. They are as reliable as anything else out there. Nearly every gun has its issues. It is lightweight. They are fairly accurate. They are inexpensive. They can hold a large amount of ammunition. I prefer the single-stack slim grip of the 1911, but for a double-stack pistol, this is actually not all that wide when compared to other DS's such as the Beretta 92FS.

  • @hogger129 For concealed carry, I agree with you that the slim profile of a 1911 is hard to beat! And as you saw in my video, I had a 1911 on my hip and love 'em. But for a daily gun, something that will see sweat and lint and abuse, I want something more reliable than a 1911.

  • I can't stand the trigger. It might be safe if operated properly, but I cannot stand the fact that the Glock trigger is so long on the first shot. From my experience, it has a long double-action pull on the first shot then switches to single-action until you let off of the trigger completely. I just don't understand why anyone would put the safety on the trigger instead of doing like its competitors H&K or SIG and have a manual safety of some kind.

  • @hogger129 Sorry, but you're completely wrong on the trigger's operation. It's double action, every time. It just a has a great reset, even better than a 1911, imho. SIG has no external safety either, just a decocker.

Revolvers don't have an external safety, either. Double action is enough to serve that purpose.

  • @floatingaxehead Glock is NOT double action. It's called "Preset" -- it's a LOT easier to fire than a double action pistol ESPECIALLY a revolver. And I think I've seen a couple S&W revolvers with safeties... I could be wrong on that.

  • @SpitRhyma I'm a certified armorer, buddy. When you pull the trigger, the cruciform section of the trigger bar pulls the striker lug rearward before releasing it- thus, double action as the pin (striker) moves two directions with each trigger pull. It's not "pre" set at all- when the actions cycles it's more accurate to say it resets.

  • @hogger129 if they put a manual safety in you would have to pay for that even if you don't want the manual safety. it's a service pistol and doesn't need a manual safety. but you can buy a manual safety from it. search lonewolfdist com -- also check out hera-arms com and see their carbine conversion... can you do that with a 1911? it's not illegal if you get it registered btw...

  • stupid. what a waste of money.

  • @06XTOR If you'd bothered to see that the gun still fires, and watch my Firing Pin Safety video to see that this very gun is still my daily carry, you'd realize that this actually a case of "Stupid. What a waste of a comment."

  • Don't feel to bad its a glock.

  • LOL awesome

  • As strange as this sounds, external safeties are almost obsolete. I knew there wouldn't be an AD, but I just don't like glock. I heard reports of it's reliability but I'm still skeptical. I don't like it's bore axis, it's trigger, it's grip angle, it's sights, and it's accuracy. I want to love the glock soo badly but it's soo damn ugly. How's that for an arranged marriage? The glock is light weight, adequate firepower, has fewer parts so in theory it should be reliable, what's holding me back?

  • Wouldn't it have been better to attach the line to the front of the gun rather than the trigger guard? The direction of force would have been more consistent with that required to pull the trigger, rather than more lateral.

  • @JordanNism yeah...

  • Great video! True torture test! Am now a fan!

  • Maybe if the drop safety shelf was worn, but with the firing pin block and striker lug holding the cruciform section of the trigger bar forward, I just can't imagine it would make a significant difference. (I've since become an armorer.) If you watch my Glock Firing Pin Safety video you'll see what I mean. Good question, though

  • well pretty amazing

  • Hey America invented Bluegrass music the most beautiful music in the world. Really fitting for the best gun.

  • GLOCK THIS ONE

  • GLOCK IS THE ONE

  • Simply amazing.

  • I met with Eric today and he was CCW this G-19!

    Chips, scratches, and all...

  • America: Dragging Glocks Behind Trucks in the Desert Since 1982.

    I love you!

  • A Heckler and Koch would have survived it all. See their factory torture test.

  • jup :)

  • @MediaCop i bet HK and sig both would pass the same tests. They are all tied in my opinion for the best 3 makes in the world. they all have their different pros and cons. But at the end of the day, neither one is really better than the other. Comes down to preference. But the point of this test looked to be simply to disprove the rumors of glocks going off on their own. bottom line is, if your smarter than a monkey. it wont go off on its own.

  • @55wmudea H & K and Sig, for those who like overrated ,overpriced firearms.

  • @bubbiesdad I agree completely thats why i carry glock. for the price of one HK or sig i can have two glocks.

  • @bubbiesdad - Overrated overpriced? H&K are as tough as they come. I am a very experienced 1911 shooter. Anybody knows that the old WWI and WWII Colt 1911s are workhorses, but the H&K USP or its big brother the Mark 23 are two of the toughest pistols out there. High priced? Yes definitely. But never ONCE have I heard of a USP or Mark 23 having any problems. I can't say much for SIG. I don't have much experience with them. But H&K are great quality firearms. Glock's got nothing on them.

  • I need a good quality hand gun when zombies attack!

  • I feel so bad for this gun, and it was new poor glock :(.

  • Now you have a Desert Beat to Hell camo pattern!! That was awesome!! My Glocks are still weeping in the safe. lol

  • I'm not even a glock guy, but this made me almost shed a tear... Think you said that it's still functioning well, good t hear, and thanks for the vid.

If you feel like doing this again, I would dig seeing you do it with a Ruger P95 maybe, and it'd be less expensive....

  • lol nice music

but is it just me or does the glock triggers feel too springy for the last few mm of the trigger pull

  • Forgive me if im wrong, but wouldn't the test been better to use a used glock than a brand new one? A used one with several thousand rounds of wear and tear. It would of been interesting to see the results. Oh by the way, Gaston Glock is a freaking genius!!!

Good question, though!

  • @floatingaxehead, Do you think that some of these people that "had the gun just go off" probably did some sort of modification to the trigger maybe, or somewhere on the gun itself?

Either that or they accidently hit the trigger but blamed it on a faulty gun so they didn't look like idiots.

Same thing with car accidents, sometime a guy will just say "WTF, my steering wouldn't work, but in all reality he just didn't watch where he was going. hehe same thing pretty much.

  • @Gypscrew I'd done some searching on various gun forums and stuff about that before I bought mine, and the most frequent reason for the discharges seemed to be people getting their shirts caught on the trigger while trying to put the Glock in its holster. It seems to me that as long as you're careful about that, and get a good holster that won't let anything in the trigger guard, you'll be fine. I carry my G19 daily and have yet to shoot myself with it (IWB, so I'm often sitting on it).

  • i have a glokc36 but idk if the polymer will stand up to chips and cracks ...what do u think about glock frames ? ...thanx victor

  • I have over a thousand rounds through this gun since then, and it's my daily carry. Does that tell you what I think of 'em? LOL.

  • lol it sure does ..u LOVE IT ...i have 185grain golden saber jhp in my G36 .idk if they still make BLACK TALON hollow points by winchester now its ranger T's right?

  • It might be... I know that load is still basically in production with a minor change, I just don't recall what's it's called now.

I'm a HUGE fan of Golden Saber in a .45! That's what I have filling all my 1911 magazines!

  • @floatingaxehead

mines too! they even look sexy haha jk ..i love 1911's too thos colt commander size or maybe a kimber ..im still lookin for the right one to get .

  • @floatingaxehead lol deff took balls to shoot it after all that shit, did u have to replace much after this?

  • @arkangel8419 I didn't have to replace anything after this- I just did a detail strip and wiped out all the dust. I reassembled it dry (no oil) and have over a thousand rounds through the gun since then. LOL!

  • i cant beleave you did it either

  • No wonder so many armies and police off, carry this gun. There always will be a 'lucky' person where it will go wrong.

Overall an outstanding gun, as many others guns. ps: what's the song called?

  • i was saying stop stop jajajaja i cant belive it ,upstanding and nice music

  • Wow, even though im not a glock fan i cant believe you did that!!! Cost aside, no way in hell id ever to that to my Kimber!

  • I actually started to cry when you were draging your glock!!!! Id have to have aloot of money not to feel remorse for doing something like that, hope it was worth it!

  • i honestly think glock gun manufacturer should give you a free gun lol. You did them a favor by showing the world how tough that sob is.

  • Thats just awesome. Glad it cleaned out well. The damn things just don't wanna break I guess haha

  • goddamn :P i've been tempted doing this also, but for me those guns are just TOO expensve in teh country i live i dollars it would be for about 800-900 $

Cool test,i trust my glock,i'll get another 19 2morrow,the only thing that stunned me in the video,is that the trigger sucked that much, after you dragged it behind the truck, guess the terrain was really ugly,i think all the rocks gave it the rest, but it's a glock and it STILL works and will always!

    ROCK ON!

  • I love Glock torture videos, very good work, great music. Question: After you did a complete disassembly I would imagine you solved the 20 pound trigger problem by removing stones and dirt, is that the case?

Sorry if this has been answered already, I just don't want to sift through the other 599 comments to find out. Thank you and congratulations on a very successful video.

  • Yup! After a good cleaning out it went back to being good as new! I didn't even really clean it with solvent or apply new lube- just dusted it out. I've never cleaned it since, and never lubed it. Still functioning flawlessly.

  • @justinwhitman I find your "master" analogy hardly relevant to the context of this discussion. You've managed to type alot yet say very little with regards to my comment.

That being said, I respect your opinion and your point of view. Though I do find it a bit absurd.

  • @justinwhitman What are you talking about? Guns are tools, they don't have feelings. His vid is a testiment to this "tools" durability. If you have some kind of personal relationship an object than you should probably see a shrink.

  • that's what I call putting your money where your mouth is!!

    god bless glocks
