I havent seen Running man since I was a kid then finally found it on DVD and have to say I still love it, either this or commando would be up there with my favourite Arnie films.

Like when the music kicks in when Arnie is captured...

I don't feel like MP3ing it.. but it's very easy (the regular one) if you have a piano. You can learn it quickly, its very basic..

There's the soundtrack - I'm not sure what song do you mean but there are many in the soundtrack, try to find it, it's great! ;)

I mean the music the girls are dancing to before the start of the show. They also play it when they get the weapons and are about to storm the studio.

It's an unreleased track, not available on the soundtrack album. The only way to get it is to get it off the DVD.

Assuming you have the soundtrack, "Medical Checkup" is another good one. I think that the "Mick's Broadcast/Attack" cue might be misnamed...I think the music was used for the prison break sequence.

Thanks for the nice comment! I do have the soundtrack and as for misnaming, there's the similar melody in many songs so I'm not sure which one was used where... :) It doesn't matter anyway, the music is great! :D

I've worked in this building before...it's located in Culver City on Washington Boulevard at the east end of the Sony lot. It looks like a pyramid...a matte painting made it look like a high-rise.

It used to be MGM's old corporate off\ice, the Filmland Corporate Center. When Sony took over MGM's lot, it became Sony Pictures Plaza. And yes, that was a matte extension used to create the ICS tower.

Quasi-Interesting side bit of trivia: "The Running Man" was originally offered to MGM to distribute, but they turned it down. It eventually went to Tri-Star Pictures, which is now owned by...Sony, which also now a minority owner of MGM.

@cubdukat It is an interesting building. I knew about the matte that was a backdrop , the effects worked very well. I'm guessing that the interior of the Running Man Studio was done not in that building but on a set ? Also when Killian and his co-workers got in the elevator i'm guessing they went down ? Cause in their offices it showed no windows. Strange to think about it but are there any basements in commercial buildings in California ? The offices must have been a set too.
