Both pieces were done on wood panels rather than something more common, like canvas. He was a pretty interesting guy. Sure, he was nuts, but interesting nonetheless.

Interesting. This guy is more an heir apparent to Zappa than Hendrix, but thats fine. This type of weirdness comes naturally to this guy. The famous Bosche painting used here ("Garden of Earthly Delights" I believe) is just as wacked-out as the music. If Buckethead live 4 centuries, he would be doing these paintings or dissonant stuff on the Lute. This may be the first guitarist I have really liked since Hendrix - a "Third Stone From the Sun" type of MIND F****.
