The Brits had the Spitfire-an excellent fighter plane, and the Germans never developed a good long range bomber. UK and US had excellent long range bombers. There's no way that Germany would have defeated even just Britain and US.

@repulic5 Sometimes Relic can struggle to think of new ways to add in factions, making them play differently and stuff...CoH makes this even harder due to the fact that every army consists of the same things. If you look at the factions they are all different in their own way, the US is very basic with few types of infantry and tanks, whilst the Wehrmacht is very complicated with its pay-to-vet and multiple types of tanks and infantry. Then the Brits and Panzer Elite go even further...

Germany was in a different league to the rest of the world army's. As seen, France fell. If Germany was not fighting against England, i think Russia would have fell too.. and same for England if Germany did not have to fight Russia.

If America sat back an done nothing, it would only be matter of time be for Germany landed on American soil. The tech that Germany was coming out with was unreal to.. god only knows what else they would have came up with to unleash on the Americans given the time

Austria, Hungary and Germany could not defeat Russia then Hitler gave it a try and he couldn't do it. The weather in that part of Asia is just too harsh. Its almost imposible to take Russia because of its vast lands and extremely harsh weather. But The Soviets also had the T-34 which was actually a better tank than the German Panzer and Tiger. The T-34 won the war for Russia. but in regards to the game.. looks like WiC.

The nazis had a great army at that time, they actually did try to take out every nation but they couldn't do it they even had two key alliances with Japan and Italy and STILL could not win the war. Its not so much how powerful your army is. When it comes to warfare, logistics and timing are most important. Doesn't matter how powerful your army is if you don't know how to use it and the nazi's were clueless.

I would agree that Americans exxagerrate a bit over their input into the victory in WWII. But that is actually not only about warII, that is about the Americans in general in other life aspects as well. Just look at Americans in Iraq. They pretend they are saving the world from atomic weapons and not taking oil for free.

Anyway, the game is good, although there could have been more missions, not only those which are very popular with players.

Except the Yanks with their dollarz and steel mills and shipyards. For every tank the Germanz blew up the US factories churned out 10 more. Of course I realise who captured Berlin - but that was just the finishing blow. Germany was defeated ling before that. I shall repeat - the USA's most important input was economic. Without the ships, tanks, guns and other supplies the Allies could'nt have won. You should try reading about the battles in Africa for example, where Rommels men destroyed a couple of allied tanks for each they lost but it didnt matter - the Allied kept replacing theirs with more and more and more...

You misinterpret my words. I am saying that the rest of the Allies wouldn't have won if it wasn't for the Americans, NOT that the Americans would have won alone, because they probably wouldn't. They kept Great Britain fighting by supplying them across the Atlantic. If it wasn't for that GB would have fallen and Hitler would be free to fight on one front - the East. And may have been successful.
