single in cape coast, there are over 40 languages. like fante and so..

  • Grammy for the artists please ... !!

  • @IwantLogan dude fck u there are no 40 languages in ghana

  • @gameprohalo what he meant is dialects... there are 38 dialects 8 from then are langauges!

  • @IwantLogan my mom speaks fante and twi and my dad speaks ga

  • correction --only one language---the akan language and many dialects

  • @mskuukua THAT IS HUGELY INCORRECT!! There isn't just one language in Ghana! ur username suggests that you are a ghanaian, and i'm surprised that you are saying this.. is GA a dialect of Akan or Twi?? eh? What about Dagomba? Sisala? Kasem? Hausa? Ewe? clearly, we have more than just one language. We have 11 languages, excluding the various dialects.

  • @elegance212 -My dear their mainy languages in Ghana...but Gh speaks 2 main language that from east-west...from north-south we all undesrtand...LUV/UNITY...Gh True Jesus Christ/Allah we are Moving Forward! God Bless Ghana...

  • @elegance212

Step out of your boundaries into the international level. Please check the internationally recognised language list before you display your ignorance publicly.

  • @mskuukua oh so i shouldn't consider the many languages spoken in Ghana, just because some people in the western world don't recognize it as a language? HA! wow, okay, i'm the ignorant one. You said there is only ONE language in Ghana.. that is very incorrect! Dagbani isn't a dialect of Akan!

  • Oh damn!! Sherifatu is just marvelous!!! Manrichie... You are damn right, when you atlk about the steps she even took to come 4ward!! She really stole the whole show!! I hope i could understood him...but at least I registered those word "tebetebe"....hahaha!!! I'll love to learn that language!!

  • PEACE!!! Peace Ghana! Peace World!!

    freespeechnetwork (dot) ning (dot) com

Take a stand for free speech on the net!

    Peace

  • Sherifatu delivered her lines with mesmerizing performance that defined the entire video! Her stage presence is undeniable! I noticed her way behind the scene around 4.05, while Jane was singing. She stole the show from there onwards through her performance. Watch as she nailed her cue right at 4.17, as she emerges for the kill ... with a prophetic moves and unforgetable dance towards the mic! Brilliant ! She is a natural born STAR!

Looking for her music in USA. So far, to no avail. Anyone?

  • This a very positive attitude. Ghana should be a country of reference to all African countries, that are built on greed, corruption, hatred and all sorts of evil.

  • happy 52nd independe day

  • 4real ghana is my mater lan u know wat am saying

  • Cool song. nice touch and well produced

  • my dear friend, there is no problem for the world bank sponsoring such a good song, sponsorship can come from enywhere where it is available.

There are lots of companies here in the uk ,and yet it takes an company (AIG) to sposor a the biggest and the wealthiest and the best team in te world

  • Yea that's right. Get sponsorship where ever it could be gotten. The musicians have done so well to come together like this. The one who wrote this piece also did very well.

  • @dinkaboy007

Nationalistic sentiments should never have to be assisted with external funding, the funding should have been acquired from those who voice their patriotism passionately. Secondly do not compare commercial sponsorship with this effort, they are two very different things.

  • I get your point, but we are talking about a third world, and a developing country which is in a continent prone to war and corruption, my point is getting the message across and not where the money comes from.

  • i love Ghana !!

  • this make me a proud ghanaian, good moral people, dignity, respect to one onother and love for all which the whole world lack. thanks to the singers

  • Good to hear that. keep it up then

  • Why are you PROUD??

It took the World Bank to sponsor a peace song.

Something that should have been done by Ghanaians.

Sorry, i dont think that there is pride in that at all.

  • Is the World Bank belong to your father? you sound very ignorant.... "world"... fool!!!!!

  • I agree

  • i love this song n all ma favorite musicians r in it...just love it...go Ghana

  • Ghana we luv u, i'm proud to be a Ghanaian

  • This is wonderfull, the best country in this world,GOD bless ghana

    ......PEACE 4 LIFE.......

  • hafko!!!!

  • Shasha Marley is the Greatest

  • love this track

  • same here man. Then the beat too really good

  • God bless Ghana. Our musicians have shown such a positive attitude. That is all we need. awesome track . beat is wicked !

  • (logicstal)

i dnt agree with ur point of view but i could understand where ur comin from. im sure every ghanaian, atleast those of us who are fortunate enough to have seen the video appreciates these artists for buryin their differences and joined together to make such a hot track.

i believe if all artists in ghana were to refrain from singin songs for our sister's to shake what their mama gave them and switched to peaceful songs like this, then maybe jus maybe,PEACE!! could be achieved

  • Musicians politicians have no moral right to talk to us about peace. Next time musicians who are neutral should be used for such a laudable project and I believe it will have the desired impact.

  • Some of the musicians have join hands with some politicians so they have no moral right to preach peace to us instead they should talk to these politicians who want to win through any means. The initiative is laudable but those musicians politicians have be little the whole idea. I think next time musicians that are neutral should be used.

  • "Mrs Allan"

A tribute to all who have lost a loved one to war yet a song of hope.

    The Ormidales

  • it's beautiful and inspiring but if all these words end on our lips without living what we are proclaiming i am sorry. All the best during the next presidential elections. from djmozato in the diaspora.

  • All these will be fruitless if the law enforcemnet agencies do not assert themselves above partisanship.

Lets laws work and stop this gimmickery.

  • lovley track. Why didn't they write the name of the last artist? I think it's Alfred of TV3 Mentor? Respect.

  • the world bank is corrupt!

  • Wonderful l only hope as this creates the awareness and the need for peace the other structures would ensure there is fairness and justice in everything that we do from now and after the elections

  • I know Ghana will make it we are peace we love peace and we will remain peace forever

  • beautiful song.
