I think if they redbooted it lord of the rings style then it could be awesome...let Peter Jackson direct it!!! Bet it would be awesome then. @Arthus850 I have to say everyone gives II a bad rap, but it's not really worse than the first one. Sure the actors are different but they don't do a worse job. And it's really a beautifully made film. I say watch II but stay away from III.
