I am always unsure what to do when a DVD starts skipping, sometimes it will start skipping for a little bit but then it will get over it and continue to play like normal, but not always, and cleaning the DVD is so inconvenient because then I have to approximate where i was with the chapters, so when it starts skipping, my mind goes back and forth between "It will be over soon" and "I just gotta go clean it!" and thus my stream of thoughts begin to resemble the stuttering of the DVD. How poetic.

DVDs piss me off that way. VHS would not glitch like that. Thing is some DVDs don't keep playing, they freeze and after a few minutes they skip to the next chapter, and then a few more minutes into the film and the same thing happens. I give up and watch tv instead xP
