Some people have headshots ranges of 4k meters, have a look on the leaderboards. I have a suspicion though that they may have gained this unfairly, either in a jet flying out of bounds for the infantry but still in bounds for the jet then just spraying a pre-disclosed area where their friend is standing. Or flying out of bounds for the heli the pilot gets out with aimbot on takes a quick shot gets back in and flys away.
