This game looks great, of course it "looks" like Gears of War, it does use the unreal engine, they just didn't change it like Bioshock did. You Gears of war/Fallout3 fanboys need to read or play other games. Cover system blows anyway, makes the game too easy

why does everyone compare 3rd person shooters to gears of war all the time. newsflash, it wasnt the first 3rd person shooter invented. its good, but its not epic. what does 360 have. halo and gears? pffft. at least sony doesnt have to buy out a title to sell. This game looks like Gears because it uses Unreal Engine. It has no cover system because it's more of a run and gun game. If you don't like the game great get off this youtube video and leave us non-fan boys wait for a real game. Don't get me wrong I really enjoy playing Gears of War and Gears of War 2 but they released a broken ass game and after 3 failed attempt to correct the problems still having issues. At least this company is taking the time to get it right the first time. Later.

_____I agree. There's nothing to really separate this game from a lot of other action games. So the game lets you run around in 3-D and shoot pistols? Wow, what an ORIGINAL IDEA...! Of course, that's just a little sarcasm--or maybe a lot. This game not only need sarcasm, it needs a miracle to dredge it up from its depths of mediocrity. Throw in an over-the-shoulder cam, a cover system and some beefy weapons. Oh wait, that's GEARS OF WAR! Never mind. Just cancel this game before it fails.

I think that's in your head, dude. The artistic direction, gameplay, platform layout, interface, and abilities are all completely different from God of War. The only thing it has in common with GoW at all is that it's a 3rd person action platformer. That's like saying Ratchet and Clank is a complete rip off of GoW.
