I don't know what to think about this. They seem to think that Salvia doesn't make you hallucinate. That is simply not true. I've smoked 10x and 20x multiple times and each and every time I experienced intense and vivid closed eye hallucinations which I believed to be real when I saw them. I also felt my body being pulled in various directions (upwards to my right, horizontally, downwards, etc.)
@TheProficientPirate I am totally with you on feeling my body pulled other directions. I described it as gravity coming from the side, and the coach kept me from falling across the room. This was with x 5 and lasted about one, maybe two minute.

I get these intense repeating patterns based on what is around me, but they take the form of a completely different universe. @reddstar69 Seems like a weak dose, most likely 1x-10x. The first time he hit it, he exhaled really quickly. You're supposed to keep the smoke in until your vision vibrates or as long as possible. One of the researchers had to explain how to use the bong (carb hole).
It would have been much better to do this experiment in the dark, because light suppresses the hallucinatory effects. Also, some gentle or pleasant music may have intensified the effect. A far quieter enivironment in terms of social interaction would have been better -- and then to ask him again later for a recount.
@D0ctorR0b also some lessons on how to get more in in one inhalation and hold it in much longer, then leave him alone for more than 2 seconds for crying out loud, your never going to find out what this plant can do while doing it this way. The night time is better for many reasons and music becomes magical beyond description.

@reveries119 the eightfold path is a buddhist thing. i couldn't tell you much about it but i know alot of buddhism is about being content with shit and not leaning towards either attachment or adversion, but more towards acceptance... very vague i know, it's not something i'm too familiar with.

@reddstar69 Seems like a weak dose, most likely 1x-10x. The first time he hit it, he exhaled really quickly. You're supposed to keep the smoke in until your vision vibrates or as long as possible. One of the researchers had to explain how to use the bong (carb hole).

It would have been much better to do this experiment in the dark, because light suppresses the hallucinatory effects. Also, some gentle or pleasant music may have intensified the effect. A far quieter enivironment in terms of social interaction would have been better -- and then to ask him again later for a recount.

I actually do not enjoy salvia at the full dissociative doses, I just feel so lost in that other world and that feeling really scares me, I prefer hanging out at the light doses were your allowed to watch and enjoy the visions but not have to become part of the matrix.

I agree with mayo.....the higher doses will cause the user to experience extreme dissociations from reality as i experienced i had no self realization and definately would not have been able to explain what was going on at the time of the trip or to even here the questions they were asking me for that matter.One thing that annoys me is that to feel the full effects you inhale and hold for 20 to 30 seconds which the testers cleary did not, therefore they most likely did not feel the full effect
