Hey man, the quality is amazing, what render settings did you use to edit/upload, I always get black rectangles either side and the quality is rubbish. Cheers man !
Hi, I am doing a music video for one of my own songs about someone using different means of transport and I absolutely love your video! I wondered if you would allow me to use some of the footage as it would fit perfectly. Thanks.
@smithy2306 ahhh yea, that would probably cause a lot of issues with noise in low light. im not thrilled with the low-light performance of the d5000. A 35mm f1.8 would be a great addition to your bag and they're not priced too bad either.
WoW...i can see that it did pay off....filming was very stable.. and damn near centered too...Have to take a look more closely at using a Tripod mount....Thanks!
Nice!!.....But how do attach your tripod to Fj Cruiser??...I got da sandstorm 08...and Luv my Fj!!!..Also waited long time to get this digi cam- Toshiba Camileo S20...right camera for my budget...Thanks for sharing!!
@donalduck815 It was a fun little experiment. I used a simple tripod with angle adjusting legs. One leg came down by my feet, another into the back right passenger window, and the third by the passengers feet. Weighted it all down with about 40 pounds of sand bags. Fun times ! and yes, I love my gnarled too, except for my horribly cracked and dined windshield.
how did you get the camera to get better low light settings, whenever my nikon d500 is in low light the noise that it produces is ridiculous compared to this, I have the aperture wide open too.
i am still trying to understand this myself. so far i see no change in quality or low-light performance when increasing the ISO. this worries me a little that i have a defective camera.
All I can say is it was in ISO 200, shot in aperture priority at f2.8.
It seems like most of my knowledge of still photography doesn't translate well to digital video. At least not when it comes to how ISO and shutter speed relate to the actual "exposure" of the movies made by this camera.

@smithy2306 hmm, can't say for sure, but it could have something to do with using a 2.8 lens. what lens are you trying to shoot in low light with?
kslagerman 1 year ago
@kslagerman
the stock vr lens that came with the kit. think it only goes to 5.4 on 50mm zoom and 3.5 on 18mm zoom...
