Yes! It can be used, chandley, with leather or any cord. I'm assuming you want to silk wrap around the leather using thread. But, you can also use up to 1.5mm leather as your thread to wrap around leather or anything else.

I love this technique. Thank you for sharing. Can this also be used effectively with small leather cord? (1mm and 2mm) I think it would look more finished than just a knot. Just not sure if wrapping with the leather would work? Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!
