  • "I think we'll let thd wives sort that one out"

  • I'll be honest with you... I don't like you xD

  • "I'm very much a Daily Mail person; well, I prefer it to a newspaper, really..."

  • Anyone notice - Hugh Laurie sang "For He Is an Englishman" in the show House recently.

  • Yes :D I even thought about making a video of them singing in sync (even though I didn't remember that Fry isn't actually singing here) but I didn't bother to install a big and complicated editor for that.

  • @DontTouchMyTea Yeah... last good episode on the show. Since House stopped using junk, the show became quite dull.

  • @DontTouchMyTea LOL THAT WAS SO GREAT

  • "my wife is being towed away" brilliant!

  • amazing men!

  • Is that from 'Penzance' or 'Pinafore'? And where are the steam pipes?

  • pinafore, I'm pretty sure

  • In-joke. Not a fan of The West Wing, I guess?

  • the what? :P seriously never heard of it

  • It's from Pinafore. Trust me on this - I'm a G and S junkie! :L

  • I hate to put my head in the lion's mouth, but were you the recording secretary of the Princeton Gilbert and Sullivan Society for two years?

  • No, but then again, I'm not a woman.

    Seaborn for Congress!

The West Wing was uncannily accurate in predicting the 2008 election. The Democratic Party's front-runner was upset by an upstart, the upstart was a minority, the Republicans picked a more liberal-friendly candidate than usual, the Republican nominee is quite old and was struck with a national event that decreased his chances, and the victorious Democratic nominee named his former opponent as Secretary of State.

  • Erm, have you heard Sarah Palin speak? McCain may have been left of Bush and Cheney but he was always on the right of the political spectrum and his campaign tactics only confirmed that.

  • As on The West Wing, the dark-horse Republican candidate started out as relatively liberal-friendly, then was persuaded by his party to pander to the extreme right, and to pick an ultra-conservative running mate to appeal to the Republican base.

  • Oh, ok then. I haven't seen the West Wing so I wasn't sure where you were coming from before

  • Well hell's bell's man this has got to be stopped, who's the foreign secretary!!.I can imagine that these useless individuals are so removed from reality, the most important things on their mind would be a gilbert and sullivan production and not the security of the nation!!.
