  • How Do You Find Out About These Exsersions

  • @trainboy7312 Wasn't an excursion, it was a photo charter no one was on board

  • I have a N&W calender with a picture of 382 at a crossing so I will make a video about it.

  • Great video. Gotta love steamers and snow.

  • Train Creepers :U

  • Even though 475 looks good as 382, but why couldnt she renumber her to 450 and make her look like she did back in 1906

  • @PRR460 I think you need to call up Pete Lerro and ask him!!!

  • Great Video! I too agree that the camera clicks distract from an otherwise great video. Next time have the shutterbugs stay away from the video camera! That's what I do.

  • @signalyard In 3 feet of snow?

  • isnt 382 just 475 but changed the number i never saw her

  • @TheRush341 Yes.

  • Excellent videos. We enjoy. You probably realized that the sound of the 35 mm shutter clicking disturbs the mood of the video.

  • @userwow It's a photographer's special. A lot of the times it's my own as I too am taking photographers, with a DIGITAL SLR, not one of those ancient film things.

  • You know, I was thinking, if Strasburg ever does restore Reading 1187, they could turn it into a traveling museum piece, similar to Flagg Coal 75. Hopefully PRR 520 will also pull the Strasburg tourist train at some point.

  • @dragonpullman There are two chances of that happening: Slim and none.

  • this video is absolutly amazing, i wish i could have been there to see it!

  • @p174208 It was a great day, despite the 3 feet of snow to trudge through!

  • 7:57 a ford model t,and I have a question why is sometimes the smoke coming out of the engine white and sometimes it's black?

  • @GoVNO1998 The black smoke means they are shoveling coal into the firebox. the white is just regular smoke.

  • @GoVNO1998 White is steam, the black is smoke.

  • How did #382's whistle survive but not the 382 herself?

  • @PereMarquette1223 The man who ran the 382 owned the whistle. I'm sure the guy took the whistle before they torched the engine.

  • @CSX6000 he should have saved it, that would have been awesome, 475 only surviving sister is #433, which is on display in a park in Abingdon, Virginia.

  • @pennyf9 No, there is another one sitting at the VMT in Roanoke, VA. Though it looks like hell.

  • Wow, dynamite video man! Great footage!

  • When are you going to be back here? By the way i would also like to see more of the bel dels #1850

  • @trainfann1 WTF does that have to do with Strasburg?

  • Great Video! I love it at 8:38 when the snow is being tossed around in the drive rods!

  • @BonesCentralRR I thought it was a neat effect.

  • Was the N&W lettering on the tender magnets?

  • @MainlineProductions1 It was actually going to be, but they didn't mount correctly, so the SRR took it on themselves to paint the engine back to N&W. Who know how long it'll stay in N&W paint. The longer... the better.

  • @CSX6000 no all the strasburgs equipment is now painted in oreginal lettering

  • @Seekanddestroy1ful Ahh but you are totally wrong. All of the rolling stock is, how ever the coaches all are in Strasburg colors (some have their original lettering), and all the locomotives except 475 are lettered "Strasburg" or "Strasburg Railroad" but in the font style of the locomotive's original road.

  • whats the thing on her stack

  • @ColumbiaAndHoodRiver Spark arrestor.

  • i liker better that way..

she looks...oh how do i put it...

  • @ColumbiaAndHoodRiver Like a choo coo!

  • @CSX6000 that too XD

  • darn thats a sham they should of kept it in the musem there if it was still alive

  • @celman11 I cry myself to sleep at night over it.

  • is it still around its`sister

  • @celman11 I believe 382 was scrapped.

  • @CSX6000 Probably scrapped long before the RRMofPA was even thought of.

  • thats some great history for its sister engine

  • Very nice. Some of those wide shots remind me of scenes in Dr Zhivago.

  • @640Radio Thanks!

  • great video, just all the camera clicks get annoying but that is what the entire point of the charter was to take pics. but still great video

  • @Chatzi473 I paid a lot of money to be able click my camera and take my own pics! Most of the clicks are my own actually.

  • Just amazing footage. I love watching your videos and my favorite list prove it. Excellent work.

  • @KZ1993 Thanks man!

  • wonderful quality!

  • @itm426 Thank you!

  • As always, another great video. That sunset scene was really classic.

  • @boilerbob7 Thank man!

  • @HaloCE14 Well whoever you are, you'll just have to sit up there in New York in front of Youtube and watch train videos until that all happens.

  • Is the Link museum in Roanoke not good enough for you?

  • @SR6900 I've been there. It's great, but this was a little better!

  • ya i saw the tittle then i was like damn now every ones going to think im slow!lol great vid

  • was 382 photographed by Winston O link?

  • @david245611 Yes.

  • Wonderful video, Adam! They really went all out for this charter. I would've never guessed this was 2010! Wish I was there.

  • @boberttrain831 It was really cool! Thanks Bobert!

  • is that at strasburg?

  • @shininghappyperson7 Nope, the Abingdon, VA! Can't you tell by the snow?

  • @CSX6000 looks like it!!!

  • @shininghappyperson7 Yes, this is in Strasburg

  • ***** awesome

    !:D

  • Great show. 475 looked great too.

  • @drfunk411 You mean 382!!

  • Spectacular job on the video! Wish I could have been there...

  • @srr7312 Thanks! It was a great event.

  • Other than the shutter noise, nice job.

  • @jay611 I don't see why people have to shoot in semi-automatic mode. I take one-two shots per runby.

  • wow! i would never have expected a photo freight like that! certainly unusual!! wish i coulda been there!!

  • This was in Virginia? Wow, maybe I could have been there, it seems so close, but I'm glad to see this video. What a trip into yesteryear! I'm also glad I took the time to see the photographs on the link in the description to lerroproductions.

    Great vid, buddy. :)

  • awesome job as well!! wow - wish I could have been there...

  • Wonderful work!

  • Excellent job. Well done.

  • What a fantastic video :) Wel done!

  • Wow! The 475 sounds nice! I wish I could have gone to that event. There were some nice shots to come out of that!

  • Nice!
