I LOVED accompanying my dad, Claude Kirchner, to Freedomland, where he was ringmaster in the arena circus area for 2 summers. At age 9 or 10, I was allowed to roam around on my own - unheard of now! What a great memory, and what a wonderful place that was!
Sadly..there is no mention of the local NYC based kids tv hosts/performers that appeared in The Arena at "Freedomland"..the only note of any kids tv mc appearing at The Arena was Claude Kirchner..who was then hosting many cartoon shows on WOR TV Ch.9.
