The first episode is getting a lot of constructive criticism on their forums, much of which I agree with. So hopefully they'll take some of it into account before releasing episode 2, which supposedly has much more involved gameplay.
This trailer has been on youtube for less than two weeks! It already has over 72,000 views. I am sure if this game gets enough downloads and attention, Roberta Williams might want to make ore of these games. There really was no need for these games to die down.
This trailer is amazing... I kept thinking, "surely they've used every cliché they could think of" but they just kept coming! I especially loved the cameo by, I'm almost positive, Princess Fiona's parents. Is Shrek going to be in the actual game? ;)
OMG I'm so excited! For those of you who don't know, this is a fan made continuation of the King's Quest series of puzzle/adventure games from the 1990s. It kept getting cancelled for legal reasons. I'm so happy to learn that it is going forward. I've been waiting forever for this game.
Please don't judge the graphics too harshly. It is a game made by volunteers, and I think it looks pretty good. Unlike the mindless button mashers of today, the story is the most important element.
@lemonrind 90's? Oh, Lemon, these go back to the early 80's. I remember playing KQ1 on my IBM PCjr. (256K!). Would be amazing if more adventure games were made again. Especially if they were typing vs point n' click.

I am SO excited. I've been waiting for years. I would have paid money for this! It looks beautiful, even though the fans/volunteers who made the game obviously don't have the budget of made-for-profit games, and even if you don't think it looks good, what true King's Quest fan even cares?? I still play the old pixel-y games on my current computer, and they really do compare favorably to newer flashier games, particularly KQ4 and 6 (in my opinion). KQ is about the story, characters, and puzzles!

(As well as Police Quest and... lol... Leisure Suit Larry) . So even though I didn't really follow all of the sequels, I do remember it fondly as one of my first PC gaming experiences.
Will definitely download this, and I wish the guys and gals @ Phoenix Online to ride the wave of success..(it comes in many forms and however tall or short it is and wherever it may lead them.
It seems that... fifty years from now, I will still be blown away by how the Web has changed pretty much everything.

@Anime10473 I feel exactly the same. THIS is the stuff that should make a gamer feel so proud. A true project of passion and love for an IP, and the most dedicated team I've ever seen. I never thought they'd make it after all these years, and I'm so VERY happy and proud of them to prove me wrong. It'll be great for us to play this, but the real reward is to those who've made it seeing it finally released, untouchable forever. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I can't wait to play it! I remember when I first heard about it and now that the wait is over this is so exciting! These scenes look beautiful and amazing. I'm so glad that TSL was able to pull through after all that happened.

I love the animation of the surroundings, but the characters look like
they were made in the sims :p not that I care, it'll be a great game
