@MKremer1215 I'm 6'1" have an '07 tC. Headroom is definitely not a problem. The driver's side seat is adjustable as well. My only complaint is that the side bolstering is designed for Hank Hill. It's far too narrow on the seat bottom and too wide on the seat back.

i have a problem. i have an 05 TC and when i start my car, my gauges dont flip anymore! i remember this happening before and then i fixed them accidently but i dont remember what i did!

@sciondvr You can do this to turn on/off the little needle jump that happens every time you start you car.

1. Make sure that a trip meter (I used A) is active - not the odometer

2. Press and hold the trip meter reset button

3. Turn key to -on- position - do not start the car just turn the key

4. After a short time a message is displayed to show you whether the -jump- is enabled or disabled. Sorry, I can-t remember exactly what is displayed but it should be plainly obvious.

Just got a one with only 27000 miles on it. It is a 4 speed automatic. Same engine as the Camry, 2.4. It is fun to drive and not to bad on gas. Plus the are a lot of add-ons you can purchase. It has an amazing amount of leg room in the the back seat for a coup and the hatch back design offers more space in the trunk. To say the least, I am very pleased with it.

@HipsterLiciouss The price of the older models (09 and lower) its definitely a good buy. Toyota reliability, definitely fun to drive, endless customization options, the back seat recline, all glass roof, I could go on forever. MPG however, for me at least, is somewhat decent. It really depends how you drive it, if you have a lead foot obviously your MPG is gonna suck, if you drive like a grandma you'll get 300+ miles on a tank.

well just bought a black on black 2007 scion tc manual and had to learn manual on it but it was fast to learn and this car is awesome i love it! Handles awesome with front wheel drive and a 4 cylinder inline engine that produced about 186 horse power that's awesome!

They added steering wheel audio controls and a different audio head unit that replaced volume adjust buttons with a center volume knob in 06. Aside from that it's the same vehicle. Bought mine late in 05 , (06modelyear) and have had no problems with it after 45k miles. Just can't stand driving it though, gearing is so short that you have to be cruising at 3500 rpms on the highway to keep up with traffic at 70-75mph, fuel economy is terrible for a 2 door and thats with a light foot.

umm all the car is Scion? no its not. sits on a Toyota Avensis chassis, a retuned Toyota Camry engine and transmission, Toyota Celica GTS brakes and suspension (revised and tuned for the heavier tC) Toyota wheels, Toyota/Lexus interior. Scion is a North American car company and are all made in a Toyota plant in Japan.. why would Toyota spend $5 to change all valve covers? besides Scion marque has already cost Toyota more money than they expected.
