I, too, was impressed with the trailer, but watched it full and for pay in United Artists/Regal Cinema in Las Vegas - next to the good old M&M museum, Coke museum to the MGM Hotel [where btw I didn't stay, I was at Bally's, ironically itself formerly MGM], and again in my hometown in our indie[-owned] theater. Veyr funny..and a surprise to see Julie Andrews..yeah..Tracy, a guy, fairy..:)

This is SAD. I heard a rumor a while back about this film and I hoped that he would NOT do it. WHAT PEOPLE DO FOR MONEY. It is a shame! I don't know. The Rock was suppose to take over ACTION FILMS from Schwarzenegger. Yeah, Arnold had some comedy films, but not as many as The Rock is doing. I would be shocked if he ever did another action movie. The Rock once made fun of John Cena for "The Marine" Cena's first film is way better than this junk Rock is putting out. This film KILLS rock's career!!

I can't understand why you people are bashing Dwayne Johnson for making this movie? He has always said in interviews that he doesn't want to be a big movie or action star, what he wants is to be a good actor. He is trying to avoid typecasting in action movies, that is why he is trying to broaden his roles to comedy (Be Cool, Get Smart), family (The Game Plan) and drama movies (Gridiron Gang, Southland Tales). I will not be surprised if he gets nominated for prominent awards in the future.
