  • i looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee this song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i actually started thinking about the logistics of time travel while watching this

  • lol wow you say fuck and kids get all excited jesus fuckin christ

  • 1:19 some girl climaxed

  • @NM162 thats the sound someone makes when getting fucked like an animal

  • This was the best version IMO, i don't really like the modern version with the guitar parts on the bridge.

  • in my opinion, aaron north's guitar replacing the synth sounded sooooo much better. but you can never truly get over how cool it sounds either way.

    doodoodoodoodoodoo doodoodoodoodoodoo

  • sound so much different in the 1990s than in the 2007 2008 version.

  • The older ones had much more synthesizers and backing tracks. Pretty much everyone on stage plays keyboard on this song except Chris Vrenna (making for a total of 4 keyboard players on this version) plus the backing tracks. The newer version has only 1 keyboard player. A ton of synth parts were changed to guitars and bass, and plus the new breakdown which cuts out the whole middle section. That's why it sounds so different.

  • @jeez123456789 they played the song as close as possible to the album version

  • Sooooo awesome, this is my favorite tour, ever.

  • Your favorite tour? U were like 2 or something then right? Thats cute! I guess it starts early, but yes amazing!TDS days.. terrific!

  • Yeah, i was 2, lol... but still, theres just something about the TDS era... :)

  • Totally agree!

  • I think Some songs suck live with the new line up mostly Somewhat Damaged & Mr. Self Destruct off the top of my head compared to previous line-ups... and then some songs are fucking amazing live recently Like any With-Teeth Tracks or tracks like Heresy, Deep, Ruiner... IMO... I never leave a NIN show Dissapointed however... and I've been lucky to catch some GREAT setlists...

  • I thought sin was better with the earlier line up too. But terrible lie has never been better than on this latest tour. And i think josh is the best drummer nin will ever have (unless grohl tours with them)

  • Sin was "BAD-ASS" during Fragility... But Terrible Lie with the new line is Awesome...

  • I think you feel that way if you've never seen Vrenna play NIN.

Anyone who has ever seen that thinks he's the best.

No disrespect to Freese or Dillon, they're both still great drummers who gave us great music.

  • @NINandNirvana danny carey would destroy souls touring with NIN

  • Dude, watch somewhat damaged at the july 06 irvine show. i was there and i thought it kicked ass

  • lol same here. and yes, it DID kick major ass.

  • @ac1dfr3ak1zback I've seen the band open with Somewhat Damaged 3 times and can honestly say its one of their best songs live.

  • the live band of the Self Destruct and the Fragility 2.0 are the best musicians to play NIN's music, I don't know, it seems to me that the actual band doesn't have the same feeling...

  • OMG, I love you even more. I've been looking all over for 94 era clips of Closer. Amazing how few of them seem to be circulating. That sounds kick ass. Thanks.

  • Self-Destruct Tour = best tour ever! Trent Reznor + Chris Vrenna + Robin Finck + James Woolley or Charlie Clouser = Best Band Ever.

  • Sweet!More from the Downward spiral Era!Yay!

  • Thanks for this, I've been looking for a 1994 live version of closer other than the woodstock performance on youtube. Can't really hear the kick ass guitar line at the end too well unfortunately though

  • Damn this sounds good. Might even be better than the rendition from "And All That Could Have Been". They played this song as is, not a sped up tempo like they seem to nowadays.

  • cool 94 era!! tnx
