@jescostar depends on the context. if you are not writing anything special i would think that you write " i made an exam yesterday " but if its about ... stealing or something like that then yes its taking away the exam
thanks 4 posting & sharing. The subject is interesting and bit more complex though. Lets say we are talking about a party tomorrow. If I say I will take a bottle of wine to the party, then the listener will not be there at the party, on the other hand, if I say I will bring a bottle to the party then the listener will be there at the party. Something similar happens with the verb come...... they (bring and come) comvey the idea of reuniting.... don't you think?
I think she isn't telling that the only way to use take is TAKE AWAY..is just in this case, to differ from bring...
