to be honest, i prefer the closed kinds of boots cuz they look better and give you more space to aim with more accuracy. but still if u suck at shooting they wont make u amazing at shooting.

look shoes dont make the player. if i went shopping for shoes, i wouldnt ask for a shoe that will make u better. the only things u will get in a shoe are probably look and comfort.

so no shoe will make u better. just more comfortable and it will make u look better.

@Sh0ebakA so far ive only used the mercurials. i'd have to test the adidas f50's and adizero's to make a decision. but for speed, the nike mercurial vapor superfly elite 2 and the adizero's are the best. for accuracy, the nike t90 3. for control the nike CTR 360 and nike tiempo. for power the adidas predator X and the nike t90 3. for an all around boot, its all up to u. what ever boot feels the best to u. but remember, the boots don't make the player, the player makes the boots! :D

@mattu37dm is the superfly ur only choice right now, i could help u out if u really want em. u shud do some research and read some reviews to help u decide on ur final choice. i wud say u shud get the superflys, or t90 III's, it depends on ur playing style. or what feels the most comfortable or feets ur needs

i heard that the MV 5 had problems with its durability..by making it superlight, they forgot about the strength of the cleats..that is why drogba's and arshavin's tore apart

i have to say f50's look 20 times better because they actually change the design unlike the mercurial series but the vapors are lighter but it just a couple ounces and they cant be heavier than leather cleats

F50i's are very nice, but I still think Vapors look better. And your right about how Nike needs to change the look or the Mercurial Vapor series. It's getting a little predictable now, its like you already know how the new vapors are going to look like. Thanks for commenting. :)

vapors are more for speed, but they're pretty good too. f50's have good control and shooting. but u gotta remember this, the cleats dont take the shots, or make the goals, the *player* does. im not saying u shouldnt get either of them. but i would recommend t90's or mercurials if ur a striker, preds, the new CTR360 or f50/f50i's if ur a midfielder, and any  cleats would be pretty good if ur a defender. hope this hepled. if u have any questions, feel free to ask.

f50i is by far the best if ur leaning more towards vapors get the f50i witht the sprint skin upper otherwise get the normal kangaroo f50i

vapors look the best, but the f50i's are the best technology wise and also best to improve your overall gameplay. vapors are not very durable either. my friend had it for only 4 months and they've already ripped. i personally think t90 lasers are they best if your a forward or a midfielder that takes a lot of shots.they're accurate and powerful. also, i think the f50.9's look better than the f50i's
