people throw away D.S.S dishes all the time at the dump, a lot of times the feed horns are still attached and they are free! you can even find D.S.S receivers to go along with them.

I would be very interested in seeing the quality of picture of one of the channels (maybe from Galaxy 19). I'm having a hard time finding an inexpensive multi-LNB dish, but a colander 'tree' might be just the ticket.

This is fake.. First things first, it's an LNB.. 2nd, the angle of the dish/lnb is way off. Oh yeah, and I love how he sets it up inside his room. lol You wouldn't get a signal at all, not to mention the 30 degree would make it so he'd have to pull a signal straight through his ceiling. In other words, he'd have to be directly under the satellite.. lol

Where do I get the First piece shown on the video ? Is there a store that sells it? Does radio shack has them?  Somebody mentions "LND". what is an LND?. Can it be built?

Ok, its easy to use any metalic backing and lnb to receive sat signals, the difficult bit is to make your own LND.

But, believe me, theres no point in making your own dish if you can get a dish and full instal from me for 50 quid
