waooowww it really reminds me the better days of the beach boys... typical of the end of the 60s ...this could have been on their "20/20" or "Sunflower" albums... Jellyfish vocals are really impressive... this is quite rare in "modern" bands ... who most of the time are more obsessed by heavy guitars riffs/pyrotechnics than with candy pop & vocals full of honeys... Jellyfish were quite original back in the early 90s...
honnestly only 15.1.2012 was the first time that i've heard their music!
I don't know much about Jellyfish (only know of them since yesterday), but isn't Andy Sturmer the songwriter and leader of the band? Did Roger Manning do anything other than to provide keyboard sounds? (since it's talked about as if Jellyfish is a collaboration between those two)
Sources linked the press that Jellyfish is reuniting all original members for a new tour with a new album, in a recent interview with Jason Falkner replying "A reunion will be a great opportunity to get back in the Jellyfish vibe". Roger Manning the driving force behind Jellyfish and sound will be handling all productions
I've got both Jellyfish albums and this song to me seems to somehow foreshadow what would eventually happen to Kurt Cobain mere months later. The lyrics of this are " your the only one that knows that you're right". Nirvana last recorded song? "You know you're right". Hmmm.....pure coincidence?
I've loved this song since I first heard it... how nice to see an actual music video (like the kind MTV used to show waaay back when) ... great band... too bad they're not together anymore (and yes, the Beach Boys influence is totally there, but awesome)
So good....Not like anything out there at the time...but so way ahead of their time while utilizing something from before their time (slightly)....genius.

If pop was always like this, it would be a very well-respected genre. This is genius.

I love the drums! I have some really cool live Jellyfish videos, does Andy always play standing up? Fucking brilliant.

Much of this song reminds me of The Beach Boys. Sounds like it would have fit right in on "Pet Sounds" or "Smiley Smile"....

@jeffthrow6892 I think it's the harpsichord that does it for me.
God Only Knows how much this band liked the Beach Boys.
