Nice car man I also had jay Allen build me a cam for my 347 at a 680 lift I am still working on getting it going and man I can't wait to hear it run. I don't know if you remember a john boschma but he is the one that had helped me put my motor together and much more work to my truck as well. Check out my video I have posted of it. Ford lovers will hate me Chevy lovers will ask why and hate me but either way once it's done they will be going I need to do that lol.
Brian, youve gotta get that website up and running man ... its killing me , wish you could add something like a " build your own " section with different options and accessories (engines, paint, body styles, transmissions, etc.) and price ideas and so on ... that way we could mock build some bespoke mustangs and place an order haha...
As long as you set the lash on teh rockers when needed, they will last just as long as anything else. Maintenance is the key when you start running extreme performance. If you drive/race it alot, then set/check the lash more often (maybe every 1500 miles), if it's a weekend toy, you could probably go 3-4k miles between checking it. It usually only takes about 45 minutes to check/set the lash. Is it worth another 1500 RPM and 100 HP for the maintenance? I'd say yes every time!
It's a custom built Pro-Systems. Call Patrick at Pro-Systems for quotes or applications. This guy rocks. He's got the fastest cars running his stuff period!
That's what I am wanting to build for my 70' Mercury Cougar XR-7 is use the 70' original block and convert it into a stroker 408ci and get 600HP + N/A ; Any set ups combos you would recommend?
How much does it cost to build one of these because I wanted to build one of these on a mustang like this so my dad and I could have a little project.
you got that right. It flat freaked on this little small block and a .731/.705 ground stick! You should hear this beast in person at full tilt at 7,000 RPM!
This pull net 474.8 RWHP and 433.7 RWTQ on motor. That's how you do a SBF 347 Stroker THR Style!

Sweet. Is this from a stock block or DART-based? Also using race fuel or 93 pump?

How much power do you guys get put of 351W Strokers if you build them? Just curious

Most of the 408's will net 650+ HP on motor, the Dart Big Bore 434's are an easy 790 HP all motor.

It's a stock block with Milodon Billet Main Cap conversion, Milodon Billet Girdle, and All ARP Bolts/Studs. It'll handle a bit of Nitrous as well.

is that a stock 302 or a BOSS or DART block?
