We went dozens of times to Orchestra Hall in Chicago to see the Maestro's performances thru the seventies - and were there for his last performance...Sol Hurok was his impressario and kept a close watch on his concerts - kept us starving Mid-Westerners craving Segovia's balm for our souls.
His music was like listening to a child saying his evening prayers.....a gift and a blessing forever.

A true master of the guitar. A real shame he's not more widely known and appreciated. I'd love to see more video of him.
