This fugue is my favorite part of this whole symphony. A great transition into the re-entrance of the chorus, it's like the orchestra is saying we're still here too you know, so don't forget!

@mikabrains Unfortunately the Ninth was not recorded in Rome as the work had been produced for television just a few months before for this Berlin concert.

@Jolteon206 There's actually 3 box sets of him doing beethoven. One with Vienna late 80's and early 90's, A Berlin box set from 2000's and another one that's the audio portion of the dvd box set without beethoven nine. This 9 that we're watching is from the 2000 Eurokonzert I believe so it doesn't go into the box set. I hope that helped you.
