My ps2 sometimes makes that buzzing noise for some games, depending on the amount of scratches. I am really more interested in my Xbox 360, but I'm not saying a ps2 is stupid. It cool, but an Xbox 360 MUCH cooler! If u don't have one get one they are savage! MW2 is my fave game 4 it, but my brother is trading that in, and he's is going to buy Halo: reach, COD: Black Ops and GTA 4 trading in 3 games. I don't want him to, he cud just buy the gams without tradin' any in.

If it isn't the console itself, it's most likely cos you have a pre-owned game that has been used over and over again. I have that with one of my games.

looks like the cd reader is broken. all u need is change the reader inside or install free mc boot on ur memory card and usb advance on it. then u don't need to have the reader, because u can run gave on a usb hard drive or a flash drive. lol
hmmmm maybe becasue there is something in the ps2 that is putting to much pressure onto another pce which is causing that noise i mean idk but u can call sony and ask them and get help or they can just send u a brand new ps2 for 45 bucks thats what i did cause none of my cds would load :(
