I don't think Disney will kidify Punisher or Deadpool. They did this to attract boys (with characters like Spidey & X-Men) & adults (with those characters & Punisher, Blade, Deadpool, etc...). Plus, Disney owns the company that makes movies like Kill Bill or Pulp Fiction, so why shortcut popular characters (aka more money) when those movies can be under the Miramax title.
Disney said they're letting Marvel do what they want like they're doing with Pixar & Muppets (which they bought both of those this decade) so everything will be good. Spidey will only meet Mickey in a Mickey Mouse cartoon not in a Spider-Man comic, like how Daffy Duck meet Green Lantern in Duck Dodgers. Plus, this gives Marvel a bigger budget for the Avengers movie! No D-List actor for Cap to make up for the other actor's budgets.

This really seems like a very bad move... I was all excited for the Deadpool movie. I remember reading somewhere that Ryan Reynolds was planning on playing Deadpool again, and that he wanted it done right. He wanted a proper backstory, etc., unlike the butchering they did w/ the X-men movies.

I don't think Disney will kidify Punisher or Deadpool. They did this to attract boys (with characters like Spidey & X-Men) & adults (with those characters & Punisher, Blade, Deadpool, etc...). Plus, Disney owns the company that makes movies like Kill Bill or Pulp Fiction, so why shortcut popular characters (aka more money) when those movies can be under the Miramax title.

Disney said they're letting Marvel do what they want like they're doing with Pixar & Muppets (which they bought both of those this decade) so everything will be good. Spidey will only meet Mickey in a Mickey Mouse cartoon not in a Spider-Man comic, like how Daffy Duck meet Green Lantern in Duck Dodgers. Plus, this gives Marvel a bigger budget for the Avengers movie! No D-List actor for Cap to make up for the other actor's budgets.

Disney doesnt actualy own the rights of Marvel. There just doing it because Marvel almost went down fall. Just because Disney bought MARVEL doent mean there gonna do crossovers or any other stfuff like that. Marvel is ok the way they are now. And if Disney does get the rights, then the'll start doing crossovers. Till then, MARVEL is just Marvel.

This really seems like a very bad move... I was all excited for the Deadpool movie. I remember reading somewhere that Ryan Reynolds was planning on playing Deadpool again, and that he wanted it done right. He wanted a proper backstory, etc., unlike the butchering they did w/ the X-men movies.
But with this little turn of events, I doubt that having anything like that will be possible.

Seriously? Have you even read the comics? All of the x-men movies focused on wolverine... And, just to name a few faults, 1) Rogue was just some teenager in the movies, in the comics shes a woman. 2) They toned down Wolverine for the movies, he's FAR more pacifistic in the movies that he EVER was in the comics.
