It was '93, '94 when we camped at what we called Indian Creek. Haven't been there since 2004 or so. I love this place...and with today being 95 degrees it's where I want to be!
Supposedly you can still get to the area (said on a geo-cache site) but haven't taken the drive to find out quite yet.

Hawkins Hollow was one of the best places to swim in Western Pennsylvania. Once the "bridge" got taken apart and the tree-swing cut down, it was never the same. These pictures are from my friends and I back in the summer of 1992.
I first saw this place in summer of '94. I remember the bridge, swing and the rock tree! Took a trip down there this summer and got to swim in my favorite place once again. Days later when we returned we were turned away by MAWC. Sucks that such a wonderful place is 'restricted'. :P
I remember that place. Do you know when the bridge and swing got taken out?
