Im between the Blackstar ht 20and the Engl gigmaster. Im looking for my first tube amp and it will be used just in my apartment. Im a bluesrock guitar player that loves that hoarse clean almost dirty tones when using the neck pickup like in Jimis song Red House.

@ElMontu nah, this can become veeery hairy. with bass on 4 it will work, but not sound good. depending on your pickups, it can work without getting muddy and sound pretty good, but it's not sure :/. but you can connect a box to the combo, making it a top with practice speaker. doesn't cost much more than the top, but you can play without box if you want.

Not a bad player but if you slowed every thing down by 20% you would sound a lot tighter and better overall.

@ElMontu nah, this can become veeery hairy. with bass on 4 it will work, but not sound good. depending on your pickups, it can work without getting muddy and sound pretty good, but it's not sure :/. but you can connect a box to the combo, making it a top with practice speaker. doesn't cost much more than the top, but you can play without box if you want.
