Growing up, I used to see shadows like this all the time, and this looks exactly like the ones I saw. However, the seemed to be slower moving for me, but possibly because they would just continually walk around in my room and never leave.
First of all, how would he/she have even known the exact time that would happen and second, it could've been someone just walking by to create a shadow.
@williambrown007 ..... sci fy channel is looking at this clip to potentially use on their show "Fact or Fiction". Nothing definite yet. we just found out about it a few days ago. it would be interesting for them to try to debunk it since it's real, but i'd love to see them give it a shot.
This looks straight up legit! I lived in a house for 20 years and I saw different shadow figures the whole time I lived there. And one looked EXACTLY like this one! Others were shorter. Great catch! Good luck with the hunting and stay safe!!
@greekokie, thanks for the comment. most people think we faked it. however, the people who have seen a shadow figure face to face have agreed that it's the real deal, which i agree with. our group (GSI - Ghost Search Investigations) on facebook rarely posts videos since paranormal activity is extremely hard to catch on tape. most of our stuff is evp, which is great, but we're always trying to get some good video.

I thought it was your brother trying to scare me, so I jumped up and turned on the bathroom light. No one was there and when I checked in your brother's room, he was sound asleep. No way could he have gotten out of the bedroom without me seeing him.
Comment from my mom (she lives in Tennessee now): That was exactly what I saw. Every time I saw it, it moved so fast I almost missed it. Sometimes it was white and other times it was black. The scariest one was a dark shadow at the foot of the bed just standing there. It was about 5' tall and when I spoke to it, it 'glided' over to the foot of the left side of the bed and then disappeared like it had gone into the closet or was crouching down next to the bed (between the bed and closet).
My mom & brothers and sister witnessed the same exact activity at their home up in North Carolina. They are level-headed people, plus when 4 people see it at different times of the day, it's hard to discount. Sometimes, it would (within a second or two) glide out of my mom's bedroom and go into one of my brothers' bedrooms, which caused my brother to run out of the room and into my mom's room immediately to let her know what he saw. He is joining the FBI, so he's a pretty credible source.
Believers do not need proof, and for skeptics, there is no amount of proof that will ever make them believe. It is a personal choice, I wish people would not argue over it. Those who claim EVERY single piece of evidence is fake simply have closed minds.

You can't tell a fake when you see one if you think this has been doctored. It's genuine. The shadow figure had been seen multiple times that day, but they were unable to get it on their video cameras. THIS clip was recorded from a CAMERA PHONE. The daughter was sitting in the living room pretending to read a book and holding the camera phone at the same time. If you've ever seen a shadow figure in person, you should know this is a typical video of what they look like.
It's been all over the house. It's about 6.5 ft tall. Unable to tell if it's male, female, or some unknown energy. That's the problem with shadow figures. No one really knows what they are. The house has been dormant for months (this video is from summer) until a couple weeks ago when they started seeing one that was about a child's height. They walked into the living room and it was standing in the room when the mother and daughter walked in there. They said it scared the mess out of them.
@jdooly1 that sounds unbelievable (not in the bad way) but just seeing this, the shadow doesnt really look like a human, more like a line, it looks like maybe something passed in front of some light or something, if you can get a better image of it i may be convinced enough but i just cant see how this is something paranormal other then a creepy shadow, i dont know why, usually seeing a shadow person you can see a clear out line of them and its alot darker, but i will watch more videos for sure

I'm in the process of having professors at full sail university to authenticate it for the skeptics. Why does no one come up with alternate explanations other than saying it is a fake? For those who have seen a shadow person, does this look like what you have personally seen?
The people who think this is fake I would love for you to do as posted and slow the video down and watch it frame by frame. You can see the stride in the steps. Now tell me how that was done on a camera phone? Ive personally seen this same figure with my own two eyes which is why we wanted someone to investigate it. I live in this house and when this was caught, It was such a relief so others could see what we are seeing. So bash away, it only makes you look ignorant to me since I know its true!

@emerson24, what makes it a pos? Why do you look at potential paranormal evidence on the web if you're going to bash everything you see? One day you'll hopefully see something you can't explain which might be deemed paranormal. When that happens, maybe you'll change your tune. I've investigated places (alone in some instances) that I bet you wouldn't step foot in. Use a good video software program and still pause the video and go through it frame by frame.

@gotisch1 , We didn't think of that. Can you duplicate something like that and send it to me? If you're collecting paranormal videos, I assure you this is genuine. There's no way to prove it to you unless you actually investigated the house yourself. If you review our GSI - Ghost Search Investigator site, you'll that we're serious and have investigated historical sites (per request of the local govt).

For a shadow to be cast someone would of had to be behind the person videoing. Which would of been in the wall. I have personally seen this several times over the last year.
